I tried this, still has light going through, the inside of the ducting is reflecting the light through. I found a thread about making a light proof louver, going to give that a shot.Use a length of black flexible ducting and create and S shape with it. I just use some hook and loop velcro to hold it in shape then duct tape to the opening.
Light cannot bend so by adding 2 bends it will be 100% light tight.
build a filter box and turn the passive into a activeI tried this, still has light going through, the inside of the ducting is reflecting the light through. I found a thread about making a light proof louver, going to give that a shot.
Yeah it will, thats why you need the black ducting.I tried this, still has light going through, the inside of the ducting is reflecting the light through. I found a thread about making a light proof louver, going to give that a shot.
I did this and then put pantyhose over the end to make a filter. It works ok but I have to vacuum them 1x week.Use a length of black flexible ducting and create and S shape with it. I just use some hook and loop velcro to hold it in shape then duct tape to the opening.
Light cannot bend so by adding 2 bends it will be 100% light tight.
do a search for vents for a photography darkroom. pre built and light tight.Anyone have a design or know of something that will give me a light proof intake, need a couple passive intakes into my flower area but needs to be light proof.
