Still better than buying off the black market that has been sprayed with god knows what. Besides pesticides and other crap, they are lacing with fentanyl and other analogues.
The anti-LP shills don't want you to know that as it cuts into their business. It seems like they are just bitter because they can't cash in because of their criminal records or their peddling profits going down the tubes. Whatever their beef is, who cares as it is obvious that they don't know how to grow.
LPs are for the majority of folks out there who will be consuming. Through ACMPR you can grow your own, get from an LP, or even do both. It is the best of all worlds. Growers can grow, non-growers can buy from a supplier that has at the very least better production and quality control than the black market does.
Most things that you do yourself are better than commercial because of the personal care one puts into producing something. But the individual still needs the skill and capability to produce a good product. Quite frankly most people suck at gardening or growing anything for that matter. LPs work for those folks.
It is no different than food grown at home or out on your farm if you happen to have one. Using a food industry comparison you could consider the LPs to be the 'fast food' equivalent whereas the nice home cooked meal consisting of bar-b-q steak with all the fixings being your home grown. There is an expectation of a consistent standard from the LPs just as there is for fast food franchises for which neither can be considered high quality.
There is a similar requirement for the home grower. Just as the quality of the meal will depend on the capabilities of those involved, the quality of the plant is directly the result of the gardener. Masterchef will produce a great meal as will a mastergrower produce great plants.
As for the claims of poison and lawsuits, well none of them have been resolved in the courts. It is most likely these are people trying to gain the system as it will be impossible for them to prove their so called damages weren't the result of their condition. Until the courts rule it is all just a bunch of noise.
Sadly, lawyers will still take their money just as they do for those who try to claim that hormones in beef burgers caused their ailment.
