Been reading about COBs been running them since last fall when they first came out and got a few kits from Dan
@timber. I can build my own but then I'd have to do all the research... then build. I'd probably still not have any running if I went down that route.... OCD... gotta have everything right...
I get my electronics fix building and repairing vintage audio gear.. tubes still # 1 in that arena!!
Dry ferts?? No "ferts" - I run LOS soil no-til. 100% organic inputs and we make compost. Every new soil mix I send samples to Penn State AG... you guys rock. Always send me back to add a tablespoon of a few things
per acre.. so pretty much perfect soil mix so all I really need to do is add water, automated so just watch for pests and IPM weekly. I was hopping the AG department would send me the "award" for best soil mix... hahahahaha Worm power FTMFW.
If I ran an 30gal pot, I would need a 20' ceiling. I run 7gal no-til, plants will get up to the lights @6' indoors, so plenty big usually @ 3.5zips dry/plant consistently even different genetics.
Snyder family into cannabis... just more drama me thinks. This whole deal in PA is total BS. But hey, for us turn and burners... its all good. Don't see any changes happening anytime soon. I'm more interested in the company from Colorado that got a license...that right there is a sign that this whole deal is being organized by BigAG/corporations. You have to have pretty deep pockets to even apply for the game ... then its politics to get a license..meh no thanks. So gotta ask how a Colorado grower gets a license in PA, and what happens when the flowers don't turn out very good in CO, are they gonna make oil and send it to PA under the covers... I bet they will, I would 100%... PA State gave that company a plan B for a bad grow in CO. Crazy...
