Come on Im sure every body has at least one huge regret....heres mine... Ok... most of you will probably have a hard time believing this but I really dont care... Ive been in bands for years, im a singer and guitar player, well in oct.
2007 someone on the west coast got a hold of a demo of mine.... long story short, I was told by capitol records that I have star quality, they hooked me up with a band whos singer recently quit due to knocking up his GF... these guys are on the verge of getting signd by 3 differant record companies.. capitol, columbia, and i forget the last are all looking at them, they even had a hookup with american airlines, i got to fly first class back and forth from L.A. for nothing...
capitol was literally waiting for me to lay vocals on a demo, and it was like 99 % we were getting signed. back in march the bass player flew here (east coast to pick me up) and I basically fucked them over... i have 3 kids and I thought its what I wanted, but something made me give it all up... Im 29 years old and am scared its gonna be to late real soon...
I feel Ive missed the opportunity of a lifetime... Its all I think about, I can probably still go back, even though the band is pissed off major at me.. this is just something I needed to get off my chest... most people would give anything to have that chance and for that reason I feel like a fucking idiot.... I suffer from depression and low self esteem to... fucking shit will destroy your life if you let it... it is mine....ahhhhh there now I feel a little better...lol
