Month Into Veg and plant tips yellowing

plants seem to look pretty good. I've got 2 gorilla glues and 2 sky walker ogs sitting in 5 gallon smart pots using fox farm ocean grow, RO water with calmag and every 10 days I top the soil with growilla veg from botanicare. The first 2 feedings I think I underfed as I wasn't very informed how much of this organic mix to put. Now I know it's around half a cup for each 5 gallon pot of soil. That's when I noticed the leaves were slightly drooping and tacoing. The tips are also slightly yellow and some of the very bottom leaves turned completely yellow, necrotic, and withered.
I figured the lower leaves were just due from transplanting the clones as they showed those signs early on. What I'm wondering is these slightly yellow tips. Effecting some of the top growths. I never had issues over watering and actually under watered the last time. Plants withered but recovered fully in less than 24 hours. I'm wondering can organic nutes cause burns? Am I dosing these pots properly? If this organic nutrient gets on the leaves when I'm topping can direct contact with leaves cause burns?
Humidity 61
Temp- constant 75
Lights-hps 600 watt about3- 4 feet away from tops.

To clarify.i noticed the yellowing tips BEFORE I gave the 1/2 cup feeding. I thought maybe this was a sign of phosphorous or nitrogen deficiency as both started at the bottom with the few necrotic leaves, seemed to skip the middle, and cause the new growth to be a lighter green( still emerald) with yellowing tips.

it looks like your over feeding them

and it sounds like your over feeding them

the tips are likely burn

and if that's true you could also have some lockout

ive not used your fertilizer but
1/2 cup of anything sounds like a shit load even 1x never mind every ten days

id water them heavy with only 4mls calmag and 1/2 tsp Epsom salt per gallon only and let them dry well between

in about 2 or 3 weeks consider fertilizer again if theyre asking for it ...maybe!

FFOF soil if you pot up every 3 or so weeks you wont need much fertilizer unitl bloom starts... maybe just a little calmag and Epsom and 1 or 2 low dose feedings and that's it

I was afraid of that. Mislead that organic can't cause nute burn... on their site it says .5 cups per 5 gal of soil every 10-14 days. Of course I know as with any nutrient company their goal is to sell as much as possible, not worry about how my plants are doing. I just thought I had underfed the first 2 times and that was the cause... I added this amount last night and it's still sitting on top. Wondering if it's too late to scoop some out. So just to clarify... yellow tips can't be from any deficiencies or under watering? I know over watering can cause some leaf changing issues but underwatering?
And to think I thought this would be a cake walk compared to my last grow of high maintenance coco watering and mixing nutrients every damn day!

ive only been growing organic for a short time... but ive grown in hydro for many many years

so you might double check with the organic gurus

but if that's a dry fertilizer im going to bet a more appropriate dose might be 4 to 6 oz every month but that's not set in stone its just an example

It's dry. It's ingredients are found below:
"This simple to use, natural and organic plant food is mixed in small batches. Its potent combination of seabird and bat guanos, earthworm castings, fish meal, and other natural inputs provides a wide range of organic food sources for plants and beneficial microbes."

guano, EWC, and fish meal all contain N and its all relatively quickly available

your plants look like theyre getting to much N for sure

some of the other brands like happy frog have feather meal and gypsum and things like that

but your doesn't really give a complete description which is frustrating

so its hard to suggest how frequently to use it without considering the time release factor of the amendments

Yeah I figured maybe it was from LSTing them the day before. Trying to fill out this entire grow tent before I flip them to flower.
I'm going to look more into N toxicity. You might be right.

id just cut back to water only and not add anymore fertilizer for now

and don't add any teas or bacteria or mycos thatll hasten the release of the fertilizer

Awesome advice. I think you nailed it the more I read about N toxicity.
Just water for a while.
Not sure if I want to flush... I don't want to cause any root rotting. Just let it sort out over time gradually?
