Cutting Fan Leaves Ok?

Im into the flowering stage and wanted to know if it was okay to cut off some of the big leaves that are blocking light for the lower part of the plant.

i disagree... I think it is ok to remove some fan leaves to allow light to penetrate the canopy during the first week of flowering. I do.

hmmmm, ill take off the bottom 2/3of the main fanners and see if there is any difference from the other plants that are untouched. Ill tell ya in 6 weeks when they done

the leafes are doing ther job photowatever cnt be assed to try and spell it getting more light to your buds probarly does less then keeping your leafes and letting them do ther job they seem to be working well so far

hell why stop at fan leaves ? the rest of the leaves block light to the bottom of the plant too
why would you remove fan leaves and not every other leaf on the plant ??
i say strip every friggin leaf on it, make it bald .. why waste energy growing leaves when we want bud ... oh yeah that wouldnt work because the plant needs the leaves for photosynthesis. and them big ole fan leaves that you say are in the way ... they do the majority of photosynthesis. cutting them off makes as much sense as giving it a crew cut
