Help, can't figure this one out

So I've got 3 Ladies on the go right now. 2 of the 3 are starting to form copper colour spots on random leaves. I can't find much information online to guide me in the right direction. I've only noticed it since I started foliar feeding. I'm suspecting that I've mixed the foliar spray too strong and that's what is causing the spots but I'm not sure. so in short... help!

it looks like calcium def to me but a picture of the entire plant would help..is it on lower leaves? do you have any leaves turning up on the margins like a taco or canoe?

calcium def is usually from either, not enough calcium (more likely) or too much potassium (less likely)

whats your medium?

what are you spraying ?

Those spots will be on most every grow you do. Bigger fan leaves towards the bottom. Sometimes it show up on a single leaf, up top. There's a few theories why it happens. However, it doesn't hurt a thing. You can have bull strong plant going and it'll have the spots.

Your plant is fine and looks healthy. It's just has a blemish.

I wouldn't necessarily worry about a couple blemishes but I wouldn't dismiss it.

What medium is it in? What nutes, how much and how often? What type water, how much and often?

Temps, humidity, lights?

My medium is a mix of promix HP, promix BX, shrimp compost, worm compost and perlite. The strain is critical 47. I used a 1/2 strength mix of what I give the plants but not ph'd and I use rain water.

I use rain water. I have different schedules for each plant because I'm experimenting with different size containers. Growing outdoors and temperatures have been between 20 and 30 degrees. RH at around 60%. I PH as close as I can to 6.5. I water when the container starts to feel light.

I'm airing on the side of caution because I have a trip coming up and don't want to return to dead plants. It has been spreading but very slowly. Other than that the plants look very healthy

the silver bottle I think it says 3% calcium.. does it have the largest portion of calcium out of the bottles you have?

the only other thing to notice is your fertilizers are derived from organic resources so im not sure how quickly the calcium in your fertilizer is available

I just don't have enough experience with liquid organic fertilizers to say for sure how quickly there available

but being that itls mild and moving slow you have time to get it working even if its not completely soluble

my mistake..your fertilizers are water soluble so disregard my previous statement about organics... its just the one blue bottle that has organics the others are not organic

the silver bottle looks to be your brands version of calmag so I would up the calmag (silver bottle)

I've been giving significantly less calmag because of the suggested dosage written on the back. I'm thinking maybe they are wrong because according to the bottle I shouldn't even be giving any during veg...I've been giving .5ml/L

if I was using those nutes

this is how I would mix them

full strength per gallon

10 mls part "one" 2-3-4 npk
5 mls part "two" 3-0-3 npk
2 mls part "three" calmag silver bottle


if you want to give them a safe a quick response spray them one time with 10 mls calmag (silver bottle) per gallon

that's about the right amount

I wouldn't worry. It looks good. Its starting to flower. Its going to start growing fast.

I don't mix organics and bottles. Personally I would mix a little of that shrimp meal in the top couple inches of soil and add some mulch to the top of the soil.

I wouldn't make a mountain out of a mole hill. It happens outdoors. Its damn near impossible without a green house for a plant to not get a little dame or drop a leaf or two.


I guerilla grow. Those plants go through hell.

10 mls part "one" 2-3-4 npk
5 mls part "two" 3-0-3 npk
2 mls part "three" calmag silver bottle

Hahah that's exactly how I'm mixing them except I have 10mls per gallon of "B" instead of 5mls. I like the idea of a Cal/Mag spray. Why less "B" though?

you don't need to spray it or add more calmag

just lower the part B 3-0-3 to 5mls when you feed

adding the 10mls as you have is pushing the K and magnesium way up and locking out your calcium

I only foliar feed when I give just water without nutrients. The medium was well mixed together on a tarp then placed into the containers
