Looking good minus the N deficiency like cannn said. That WW has some nice height to it, keep up what your doing. Looks much better than my 1st grow
Lack of nutes is what you have during flush at the end of the cycle and leaves yellow like this is normal- (to me- a don't like ingesting chems kind of guy) it is desirable before harvest. Normally though the tips of the leaves are not burnt like those & you are not actually flushing. That would have me wondering if the light was too close, or if there is a nute lockout in place from Ph issue- which I guess is possible in individual pot system. I dont use soil so I'm not sure how you would check ph- I use a pen gismo in my solution- Its great for maintaining consistency. 1 pen for ph, another for EC- electrical conductivity which tells you ppm of extras in the water or nute strength. I think I have read where guys check the ph of the runoff water with their soil grows while flushing to know when they are clean enough to chop, so thats an option- ph pen in the runoff water to check your ph. too high will lock some nutes out, too low will lock out others. not sure whether nitrogen lockout happens in high or low ph. cheersWould this work? You learn the most from your mistakes. Someday youll see all the problems coming before they become a real problem and thats when it gets really funThank you guys for the comforting info. I was definitely stressing myself out that I was gonna lose her. I definitely learned a ton from this first grow. The LED I'm using is only 87 watts!! I bought an upgraded model because I read that "stronger" lights were recommended for my grow. I seen how good they were doing on the model I had so I never switched over to the stronger one. I was told to not give nutes to her until the 3rd or 4th node. I still have a ton to learn like flushing and all. I gotta say though that this is such a fun hobby!!
Ok cool. Yeah I did hear that yellowing towards the end is perfectly natural because the plant is focusing on flowering. I have made a bunch of notes throughout this first grow. I honestly didn't think I would even make it as far as I did!As for flushing you dont need to really flush per se but rather feed with plain phd water starting a couple weeks before you think harvest is coming. Some do only a week. Some just feed a lot less at the end. The point is you want a little nitrogen deficiency at the very end. Makes for smoother smoke and a shorter cure
I would say its natural when growing outdoor in natural setting or indoor with organics but must be mimicked with chem ferts. Ive given nitrogen up to harvest just to see. Plant was nice and green looked healthy plenty of bud. Never cured right and when burning cracked and sparkled. Smelled wrong after a month of curing. Got me high thoughOk cool. The grow cabinet is roughly a 2'x4' and 6 ish ft tall. I started with no reflective source at all, then with further research I found out the reflective surfaces can help a great deal. So I researched a ton into reflective surfaces and material from Mylar to roofing stuff lol. I ended up going with a flat white paint because from what I read it has high reflectivity and its pretty easy to keep clean. I heard Mylar works great but is harder to maintain and if it isn't completely flat to the surface it could create hot spots.Also that led can probably cover 3 square feet if you have reflective surfaces around in a boxed setup or something
My grow tent has diffusive mylar. Works great. I was concerned at first but its never caused issues. I do have a circulation fan though. I really like the look of flat white paint, really clean, and it does the trick. You want around 30 watts per square foot led, around 40 watts per square foot hps, or around 75 watts per square foot cfl imo for your setup.
