I am a huge fan of GSC and all of the subsequent crosses.. Don't get me wrong.. But it seems to me that there is a lack of genetic diversity with a lot of these new breeders. For instance, how many different "cookie" crosses can you really make? I mean, I am sure many of them are fire strains, but I'm ready for some new blood. Let's see who's got the next big strain up their sleeve! I remember the days of real, pure indy/sativa hybrids. Some of my best memories from the early 90s are smoking some fine, local, outdoor grown, Oaxacan/Pakistani crosses, and those early Afghan/Thai hybrids. Just straight drooling on yourself, blissed out, fire. I'd love to see that stuff again, for sure. Just my two cents.
*(Not intended to offend fans of GSC or her hybrids. Just my personal opinion. I've grown and smoked my fair share of cookie variants, and I think there are some wonderful genes there..)
