What would you build for a Wardrobe? ;)

Hey everyone,

can I please get some help with a light build?

I have a 1.9' x 3.5' x 6' wardrobe that needs some light. Now this wardrobe really needs to be ultra stealthy quiet and almost no heat. It has good ventilation, but its not in a room with air-con, so we have to rely on fresh outdoor air passively cooling from a 6" fan with a carbon filter, which I would like to run year round.

I would like to run no more than 250w.

Is it possible to get a light for this area @ 250w that would run at ambient temperature?

What would you build?

Bridgelux EB series strips are relatively easy to DIY. They require little(possibly none)heatsinking, depending on drive current choices. They are flat, saving precious vertical space in micro grow cabinet areas. Search the forums for EB series build threads.....I found them to be a good middle ground between cost, output, and simplicity of assembly.

Wow really? those strips produce buds? well ya learn somethin new everyday! total noob here as you can prob guess, i just know how to wire things together (not always the right way lol)

Cob builds with aluminum frames are pretty easy to fabricate. This is my 250w led light. Four luminus cxm22s driven by a meanwell 240 54b driver. A similar version would do your space well. Those bridgelux strips look legit too. Good luck bro.

With a surrounding room temp of 72 my box will run 79-82f. Led is the shit man. I'll never go back to cfl.

Looks good to me. Just clean up the wiring, scrap the wing nuts for normal nuts, and loose th duct tape.
Is that plant revegged in veg right now or flower?

if thats 6-10c in that small space, i think my wardrobe will be fine
