First indoor grow, week 5 flower. Are my plants in trouble or is everything okay?

So I'll start with describing my setup. I'm running a 5x5 tent with a 600w air cooled hps and two 130w(actual watt) hydro galaxy leds. A 410 cfm fan and filter along with an oscilatting 12" fan. A dehumidifier inside of the 10x12 room that my tent is in along with an 8000 btu A.C. that has ducting directly hooked up to vent into my tent. Air from the inline fan is vented to a different room near by. Temps are running around 68-77, RH around 40-65(RH seems to spike after lights go off but ive checked 6 hrs after dark and it's back down to around 50%)
I have 20 plants in 1.7 gal pots(except for two that are in closer to 3 gal pots). I'm using a mixture of about 3/4 FFOF soil and 1/4 organic compost with some perlite mixed in. They were flipped around 4 weeks after sprout.

This is my first indoor grow and ive made a decent amount of mistakes but at the same time learning lots of new things.

So what brings me to making this post is I was talking with another member about my plants. He was giving me pointers and telling me about some good products ect. We were talking about my nitrogen toxicity and I posted some pics and asked how many more weeks it looked like I had. He was kind of alarmed by how heavy of a defoliation I did(@week 2.5 of flower) and said that either it will take ages to finish or everything will fizzle out and stop thickening. So that brings me to my question, is it really that bad? Are my plants screwed? Do they look way behind for week 5? The sativa in the front left I know has a ways, it just started to thicken up this week, and I also only pulled a few fan leaves from it. It's a very non leafy strain/phenom.

And one last thing about my nitrogen tox. They've been showing signs for about 2.5 weeks now. My last 2 watering(about last week and a half) I gave no nitrogen(base is 1-4-5) on the first. About 100ppms of bud candy and growth science rock solid. Runoff was around 7 to maybe 7.5 ph and about 250ppm. Last watering I gave 2ml/gal(recommends 22ml/gal) of my base, along with bud candy, rock solid and overdrive(only 1ml/gal overdrive, says it contains nitrogen) and my ppm was around 300. Plants are now conoeing pretty bad and getting light brown and the rusty looking spots on leaves. I was hoping that a couple waterings with little to no nitrogen would be enough to get them back on coarse. Flushing will suck because my r/o system is an average home purifier and takes a couple hours for me to get 4 or 5 gallons. My tap water would be way easier but runs 389ppm. So your guys thoughts on my nitrogen tox as well as the original question?

Very much appreciate any input guys and girls.

If it was me. If maybe flush them really really really good. With your tap water. I know you said the ppm is high straight out of the faucet. But I would say not only N tox. But also nute lockout. But like I said. I'd flush em really good. And I wouldn't give them anymore nutes period. You're probably gonna end up with bud rot. And or mold when you try to dry them and cure them. And I'd say you definitely removed way too many leaves. And you need to bring that ph down some. Try to keep it at 6.0 to 6.5 I grow in ffof. It is very hot. You didn't need to add anything to it except plain topsoil or dirt and perlite. Ffof has roughly enough nutes in it to last 3-4 weeks. You don't need to add anything to the water except to ph it. And maybe some cal/mg. But I'd say you have a cal/mg def, N tox, and looks like a P def too. I imagine if you can't get all the stuff flushed out. It's gonna be rough smoke. I hope it turns around for you.

Flush flush flush.... And don't give anything but ph'ed water. But just my opinion.

Yeah I'll be flushing them tomorrow. Do you think it would be too much stress to take each one to the bath tub to flush? Up some stairs and around the corner

I have a plant that has used up all its own energy from leaves and looks to me dead but buds are growing and trichomes plenty. Stop feeding .give them calmag and also Try epsom salts . If your worried about your tap water .then run it in a large bucket and leave sitting for 24hrs if you can get a small air pump into the water it'll do them good . As it puts oxygen into the water. Plants love oxygenated water .and just flush flush flush .. I don't use much nutes.. I do give very small feeds of bloom ..pk boost.. and feed molasses. . 3 of my plants had the brown spotted leaves in flower and I just flushed for 3 weeks before harvest with water ... even when you add stuff to feed in flower it won't repair the leaves but looks after the bud sites ..

I flushed around 50 gallons of water through them yesterday. So why do you mention that I'll probably get bud rot? I have pretty good air flow and humidity gets as low as upper 30s to lower 40s. I'm just wondering because if I do have a good chance at getting bud rot now maybe I should look into a an organic fungicide as a preventative

The only reason I said bud rot is bc of all the dead plant matter. Which if you have dead plant matter on the buds. Like leaves n stuff they can draw back inside the bud when they die and cause u problems. I'm not saying you're going to get it. Jus pay attention to the buds is all. A good flush will help. Just keep an eye on them

Okay and for the nitrogen toxicity, will the conoed dark green leaves lighten and straighten back out or is it just going to be the new growth that looks normal? Because I flushed them yesterday and for the most part they still look the same today
