Good question. I am a pro carp, etc. Even if you had a Sawz-all, your borrowing trouble. My advice, from 20 plus years of doing this shit, spend $5 bucks on a cheap hole saw blade, or rent one. Watch for electrical wires in the wall. A grenade luncher works or a 1972 Ford Pinto. Put food in your pocket, so if you fry, at least the Family could eat.

Put your fist through it. Use a butter knife. You can get cheap saws to cut through wood at under 10 bucks anywhere. They come like hack saws where the handle does not impede the blade. That or borrow one from a friend or enemy and keep it. I really think you could have figured this out for yourself. If not maybe growing isn't for you.

draw your holes. use drill(small bit) and drill alot of holes All the way through the door around hole pattern, that way your holes line up on both sides of the door, then take razorblade/knife to etch out the holes. just take your time. if you use insulated ducting..... say 8" insulated for example, cut you holes 8 inches and just take your time working the insulation part through the holes and they will be light tight.

ive done alot of figuring out and yes it did occur to me i could simply smash a hole into the wall. but i want it air tight not with a 5 inch hole from my fist and 12 inch cracks leaking air...
