G13 Haze Foxtail. What should I do?

I have a g13 that is still 2/3 weeks till she's done. We had some freak weather over here last week over 30°c and the tent was roasting me alive so I thought I would try and get by on 4 hours on and 20 hours off.

At first they had a full 48 off as I thought the weather would pass.

Anyway now she's foxtailing, I think. Pic below. Hps on but can you see the pointy tip and new suger leaves coming out of protruding calyx's from the main bud? If I give it a squeeze it still feels dense but I don't know what to do.

Should have read up first I read haze is equatorial and never gets under 10 hours. She probs thought it was a nuclear winter and it was game over.

Is it worth continuing? Detrimental to potency? Will she finish or just keep mutating As a side note she is kicking out that much resin its like I got super glue on my hands after touching her.

My last harvest foxtailed due to some unexpected heat. Keep your climate stable andyou should be fine. Whether it's a big deal or not comes down to what you're doing with your harvest. If it's for you, no big deal. I've never noticed a quality drop from it unless the conditions that are causing it are really extreme. If you are a caregiver or you sell to a dispensery it could be an issue as some people think it decreases bag appeal. Other than getting your temps and humidity under control there isn't much you can do. Here is a bud from my last crop in all it's foxtailed glory.

Thats a very minor case of foxtailing, i wouldnt worry. Ive seen flowering plants grow 5, 6 ft tall with almost no bud on the main cola. But if you can, just try lowering those temps a little bit

Have you looked at it using a magnifying glass? How ready is she?

Humidity can affect the later process of the plant and cause this.
My suggestion would be
* if you are close to harvest dont worry
* if you have quite a stretch still, check the humidity levels and temperature. Perhaps insert air flow using a fan.

I think two to 3 weeks yet only about 20% orange pistils atm. Luckily the weather is back to its cool self now at 17°c so I should be all good until it finishes.

Thanks bro that does look like a tasty nug! Can I ask if you found the density of the final nugs affected? Before the heat she was packed up hard and at first I thought wtf is that swell. I mean at this rate it looks like yield will be bigger because of it. It's all personal man!

The buds can feel a little less dense because they get all the spindly growth, but they usually tighten back up when the dry.

I like the foxtail stuff better. Bud has more character in looks and taste!
