I have a very complex question..

I had a plant indoors over the winter vegging with light 24 hours a day. When it came mid to late May the plant was about 4-5 ft tall and I moved it outside and it started flowering, I began to worry because I thought the plant would just reveg because of how long the days are in May and early June but it is still budding very much and it is a few days away from July. I am in upstate NY so the days are beginning to get shorter soon so my question is will my plant make it and I could have a mid to late July harvest or is there still a possibility of the plant to reveg at this point?

It's not complex at all. Silly, yes. Complex, no.

First off, why'd you veg it for that long? You must have vegged the thing for months on end to get it that damn tall. 5 or 6 weeks is good enough.

Secondly, the days aren't getting shorter yet. You're in New York. It's going to be another 3 months before that happens and you'll be done by then.

Vegging is triggered by longer light periods, not shorter. Flowering is triggered by shorter light periods, not longer. Why you even asked that question is anybody's guess.

the days started getting shorter 5 days ago. (summer solstice)
upstate new york doesn't get to ~14 hours of light until ~Aug 20 (plant begins to flower)

my thai looks like its always flowering but after aug 20 the big buds begin
harvest before first frost
was almost thanksgiving last year
most years by halloween

Do the buds have some little green leaves mixed in or is it pretty much all pistils?

Also, do you know the strain?

Any idea of the ratio of fertilizer it's received? I've heard higher nitrogen ratio could delay flowering, but you might want to research that before you overdose her. Good luck.

Frost has never effected me. It has to be cold enough for the plants interior cells to freeze, usually 28 or below

She ain't going back, veg under 16/8 next time, you want to be close to the natural light cycles. The drastic drop caused early flower. And u really dnt need that much of a head start, fellow NYer, i start end of April inside, bring them out end of may beginning of june
