Wanted to see what one of these LePower Amazon LEDs can do. $50 for 100w light, 6000k, 107w at the wall.

Agreed. Babies need gentler light.

Temps should drop a few more degrees too, I just slapped a vent on my dehumidifier and piped it to the outside.

Color looks good, looks 6000k to me, no yellowish hues.

They've been under it only for a day, no signs of distress. I had some under T5 and some under 400w MH. The seedlings stretched like MF's under MH.

I set em at about 25-30,000 lux. That's about what I set early birds at under MH. I'm not real clear on the differing light spectrums, and ratio of lumens to ppfd though.

If all goes well, I'd like to replace the 400w MH with 300w of these.

I would not put seedlings under a MH. Pre Teens in Solo cups with MH 6 or 7 feet above with a light fan blowing can work.

I had space limitations, but 18-24" above with MH, and they stretched like crazy. I just doubled the square footage of early veg, so it's fine.

Thanks, I used a soldering iron...drilling solos usually makes it crack all to shit.

I prefer cloth pots for bigger ones but I saw pictures where a guy drillied whole in his bigger black plastic pots.

I have a few big pots I drilled, might drill more. I'd like to use cloth, but I'm addicted to using the lip of the pots with green twist ties for LST.

I wonder if 6 or 8 of these mounted on a frame could take on a 1000 watt SE HPS??? I cannot find it on Amazon. ???

They sell them in 50w, 100w, and 150w. They do have a warm white option, but the color temp is not listed.

id have to guess they are intermediate in efficiency and you'd probably need 700-800W worth to match an SE HPS. so not quite the savings of the better cobs but maybe still worthwhile

I have a few big pots I drilled, might drill more. I'd like to use cloth, but I'm addicted to using the lip of the pots with green twist ties for LST.

Take a look at my fabric pots... I put grommets around the top so i can lst and whatnot. Looks like only 6500 K which is only good or veg, Damn.
