Define "livable wage".

A theoretical wage level that allows the earner to afford adequate shelter, food and the other necessities of life. The living wage should be substantial enough to ensure that no more than 30% of it needs to be spent on housing.

I entered the numbers for my area. Came pretty close to being within my budget.

What you will find is alot of people who know campaign contributions need to be reformed but understand we need to work within the current system to take power and then change it.

I concur. This is absolutely corrosive to democracy and the stability of our country. It cannot help but end badly and therefore must be stopped as soon as possible.

Most Americans don't understand is the nature, the immediacy or even the severity of this threat.

No offense, but if you work tills at McDonald's...are you expecting to live and have some kind of lifestyle off that alone?

I'd rather we paid UBI and then low paid work like that would be worthwhile rather than trying to skew the employment market.

This is where free education and retraining necessarily comes in as part of the package but is a different topic altogether.

They do need people to build, improve and maintain those kiosks.

People are out there, right now, living on minimum wage. Are you trying to deny that?
