What department do you work for officer?
That's what I was thinking.
A friend of mine lives in KC Mo had a small grow at home. After a visit to a store that sells supplies for hydroponic grow systems, pigs showed up and asked to search his home.
He had the brains to say not without a warrant, ran his plants down the garbage disposal. They did not come back with a warrant, but he shut down his grow now that there on to him.
Good use of tax dollars, watching hydro stores. Freedom? What's that?
Be careful.
Cops use to do this all of the time around the country.
I got into growing in the early 90's in Seattle - post Operation Green Merchant.
Not only would the police set up cameras and watch grow stores, but they set up sting operations.
Back then there was 1 hydro store owner in the area that had been busted, but was allowed to continue operations by turning in customers license plate #'s who had purchased over a $1000 in merch. He's still in business to this day , I hear.
After shopping at another store for a year or 2, I went in and the owner was gone, but there were 3 muscular clean cut looking guys working there, asking way too many questions about my garden.
I always borrowed a non grower but smokers car to make purchases for free weed.
I have been known to catch the bus or park away from the store and walk as to avoid any hassle.
Now that I live in a legal state, I don't really care about stopping off at the grow shop, but if I lived in Mo, I'd only order online and keep it to myself.
