Overwatering in DWC?

P.s. I forgot I'm the king of doing a million things at once so you can't tell what really did it. I turned off the humidifier today to also let humidity go up. But I'd suppose if that was it they should be better by lights on.

Part of the issue is im so heavily invested(monetary and time) in this first grow its kind of hard to not be neurotic through out the proccess. Mistake number one.....

If it is the first one then follow it to the bitter sweet end.

I do not know of a single first op that didn't have problems.

You are doing fine.

Oh trust me I have had plenty of mistakes and probably added almost a month to
My veg time..... was hoping to get all those kinks out during veg tho....where it wouldn't really effect my end product.

The most common problems are over feeding, using tap water, heat and humidity.

Your plants don't look burnt, keep up the good work.

What is life without learning?

Oh yea I almost burnt them to a crisp over feeding..... check out my nitrogen toxicity I had at one point.... luckily I made it out of this....

I'm still using tap, but I had a member help me with ratios of nutrient and how to feed based on ppm levels. My tap is fairly low in comparison to other I hear about so maybe that's why I've been ok? Tap is 180ppm of mystery matter. Looks like we are learning on the beat/humidity issue as we speak....lol

That's awesome that a board member helped you!

Unfortunately ppm. But aside from trying to compare numbers with other people, seems to me it will do the job for getting an idea if the mix is too strong or not strong enough.

He was extremely helpful.....got all the levels of each nutrient in my bottles and figured out the perfect mix for when I got them healthy and it seemed to work well. I didn't have any real nutrient problems after that.

PPM will work just fine, is yours x5 or x7?

Test PPM when the water level drops, note the PPM and water level.

If the water level dropped and PPM dropped then you need to up the feed.

If the water level dropped and the PPM rose then you have overfed.

If the water level drops and the PPM stays the same then you have found the sweet spot for a week or so. The more aggressive the growth the more often I'd recommend checking levels and concentration.
