its gonna catch enough sidelighting from the cobs that middle will still rock. theres nothing "wrong" with the roleadro. it not as efficient as others but that spectrum should still be great.



slightly yeah, but like 10% less efficient. if your plants are doing great and can take more, its in your interest to give them all the light they can take



naw with the fan on those heatsinks can take 400W of cobs all day long, no worries. be wary of the chinese mfrs that rate a 'duty cycle' for their lamps that means their heat management system is (at least as) under-designed as they claim, maybe worse.


you need 2x 3 slots for 2 cobs on one driver, and 4x 2 slots for 2 cobs 2 drivers. you can also but 5 slots and slap more cobs on later as you see fit. more cobs on a driver = more efficient



depending on what youre growing 85 should be fine with LEDs



ill bet youre box-to-lit-up-tent in under an hour

hour and a half if theres bonghits involved

Thanks for the awesome response! I wanna buy these. How do I get the ball moving? I can't put the light engines in my cart to buy them, says you are out of stock....

It looks like the 90CRI's are out of stock it's saying, but I can see I can order 80 CRI. Isn't higher CRI more like the sun and better? Should I get the 80?

Getting so excited to get these lights, my plants are really starting to look like they need it. I'm not sure if it's that, or a slight nitrogen deficiency... some lower fan leaves are getting a bit yellow and falling off. But none of them are wilted which is supposed to be a symptom of Nitrogen def.

Day 53 from sprout Caramelicious Autoflower from MSNL. She's almost done stretching and is starting to get lots of pistils... I'm feeding her 100% of the recommended Canna Coco A+B, calmag, hydroguard, and like 50% recommended canna boost since I don't think that has many benefits until bud formation?

Just got some Recharge so I'm gonna hit her with that tonight, and maybe a little bit extra nutes. Could it also be the smart pot drying out too much? I've been feeding once a day, but it seems like this girl in flower might need more than that, the pot feels so light by the time a day has passed, might start feeding twice a day.

I also mentioned my experience/incoming setup to someone on reddit that was thinking about building some COBs, and I think he may be getting a couple of these same light engines ;)

Do you put tracking numbers on the invoice once they ship?

Awesome! Now I just gotta figure out why my plant has been having some lower leaves go yellow and some fall off, even though they aren't really wilted

It's only been a couple and she's a big girl and I honestly should have probably taken these leaves off anyways... but I've cause her enough stress through learning the limits of LST

Yellowing of the lower leaves is usually a lack of Nitrogen.
