I have had an edible so incredibly strong that I couldn't feel my body and my voice and breath sounded and felt like echoes. That said, Bhang isn't what I'd consider a true entheogen like Ayahuasca or Peyote, although I would consider it a sacrament.

I use bhang every once in a while for pain relief [ mental and physical ] and as a sleep aid.
However when I used to eat bhang every single night.
I was a walking / talking zombie. Not very good for relationships.

Yes, it rips any vestiges of self away from you. You can not remember to do this or that, as most of your mind stays behind on this side of the veil.
Can be really beautiful though. but it is a whole new level of fucked up.
