Reviews of HTG Lights

Does anyone know anything about HTG sUPPLY GROW LIGHTS. I want to buy a 600 watt for flowering but I want to get a brand that people know is reliable. Do you think it matters?

I have heard nothing but good things about the lights available from HTG. I bought used eq. when I started. I hear that their prices are very fair.

the economy bulbs dont last ive gone through 3 in 1 year but the ballast is fine

I found a 600 watt HTG, used for 100! So I am going to get it. I just wonder if the result will be better than my 400 hps

More lumens is always better, Use em both for 1000w of ooey gooey growin goodness! I got 2 used 1000w HTG HPS's for a fren last month for $350 shipped for a upcoming stadium grow.You can't beat that with a stick! Can't wait to see how that turns out.

my 1000watt hps and 1000watt MH cant be beat from HTG
the price was killer and havent had any problems with either

I've got two of the 400W'ers and love them. Cheap at $120 but the bulbs are a bit crap. I could tell a HUGE difference in blue spectrum when I got just a mildly better GE bulb.

With HID's (NOT floros!) you can guessitmate that you will get 1 gram per watt in optimal conditions. In reality a seasoned grower can get a lot more, a good grower can make that, and a new or learning grower can expect about half that to a quarter of that.

All this depends on your strain of MJ and your conditions of course, it's just a VERY rough estimate.
