Some renditions just can not compare.
The real deal:
Charlie Daniels Band - The Devil Went Down To Georgia
Strings:
Horseshoe Road - Devil Went Down To Georgia
What a stoner hears:
Muppets - Devil Went To Jamaica
10 years later a sequel is borne
Devil Comes Back to Georgia
Feat. Mark O'Connor with Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, Travis Tritt and Marty Stuart.
I'm sure it's new music to most folk.People always go nuts when I play the stupid song
Lol. Was it classical music? I'm not a huge fan of the piano repertoire, either. But some stuff is amazing. I like when a piano is used as a percussion instrument. I love these Ginestera dances, they're hardcore argentinian funk...Pianists always turned my lip up until the other day. I watched a fat fingered cheese eating russian turn a crowd upside down.
Ive gotta say it was in the best three solos ive seen ever.
Ya, the symphony is my weakness. It is more emotional than any other type of music. Its no wonder cinema and symphony hold such tight hands.Lol. Was it classical music? Lol. I posted some Falco in Atomic Squat the other day. I was going to choose that one, but I went with Der Kommissar instead. Best music vid ever...Mozart - this symphony is over 30 years old

I have a nice Angel records LP of Perlman playing Paganini's 24 caprices that I like a lot, the tone is really resiny and squonky through the midrange and sweet in the upper register.Perlman and Zuckerman, two Israeli string gods. Such an exciting a varied piece. Not even the orchestra members can believe what they're hearing!
That's cool. I've seen Perlman perform more than any other violinist, and took a couple master classes with him in the 90s. What do you attribute that funky mid range to in your recording? He plays that sweet ass Strad, so probably not the instrumentI have a nice Angel records LP of Perlman playing Paganini's 24 caprices that I like a lot, the tone is really resiny and squonky through the midrange and sweet in the upper register.
