Hey man, I'm on my second grow and I sure wish I knew my strain as well as vostok knows that one you been speaking of. But my first, though a disaster and ultimately killed off out of frustration and disappointment. Was a invaluable failed that thought me a lot thanks to the members in here. You are in good hands here my friend! A lot of these members are so good in fact they can all but diagnose you plants just by a quick glance at a photo.
I had two blue dream that were never suppose to do anything and a mixture of some clones i got that turned out to be strains that were difficult to grow together. But like you the blue dream tooke forever to finish, in fact they Hermied after week 5 with 7 or 8 weeks to go.
I was impatient and arragent and paid the ultimate growers punishment, the entire crop was lost, to PM and to them growing bananas which for me was the breaking point.
I guess what I'm saying is try to be patient! I know its hard when you want to see those 420 magazine buds you always have seen in bags passed and articles read. But patience and balls is what I've found to be my biggest allies.
There are a lot of different ways you can grow, it will always fall back to preference, cash, and space. But I stay out of here for the time being, not because I don't have respect for the community you see, but because I've chosen to study, learn and practice the art of defoliation techniques.
It is shortly contested in here. I tried it during my first but I was was too over exited and damn near killed them. This time I did it in moderation during veg cause they are or were extremely busy and the center eve before center were getting 0% lumens according to my light meter and as soon as I opened them up all hell has broken loose. My girls were in Veg for twelve weeks total from seed.the strain is white cookies by Ck and wow can this strain take a beating. But they just ended their 21 days of stretch though they didn't stretch much I didn't let them.
4 are in scrogs and two are just in 7 gallon pots old if it would hurt them too much to switch to a 10 this late in the game but they seem to be holding in the water pretty good sometimes I'll give them 2 gallons of distilled every 3 weeks I add great white with my flushes now to help with root repairs if needed then I give them a touch of the mammoth and the Same with floralicious cause they need a bit more to their diet. Speaking of that like I said new techniques are coming in all the time. If you get the chance their is an article on one called swazzling
If you get a chance check it out. I myself don't have enough time under my belt to try to do that one on my own; invested time and energy not to mention a botanist would be a handy asset.
I'm alwayslearnin and it is my quest to find the most effective way to grow quality and quantity buds for my fellow smokers nonsmokers alike. The kindest of the kind, grown with the most innovative way that can be done.
Good luck man and remember the community will be there if you need them, for help or criticisms but either bit of advice is truly ment with the best intentions.
