I went out of town for 3 days wtf happens idk what to do. They looked awesome only one had any kinda issue the one on the end started getting these small brown spots. Idk wtf to do. I had been using and nutes yet just PH'd water. In order from left to right blueberry fem, white widow fem auto, amnesia fem auto please look at picks anhelp if possible !

Few questions...

How many drops of PH down are you having to add to adjust the water? Do you know the PPM reading of the water before adjustment?

Why are they in solo cups?

No much just 1 or 2 just enough to get it down to 6-6.5. And solo columns was where I germinated the mm I just haven't transplanted yet I was going to when I got back from vacation but now I'm worried they may not do so good when I do.

I suggest using compost tea next watering. The molasses raises ph and seems to help the buffering of the soil.

It's a ph lock out. Since you haven't gave it nutes. I suspect the phosphorus acid in the water is too much for the amount of soil in the cup. Causing ph lock.

Ph is out of whack my man. Give them girls a really small feeding too especially if you haven't yet and are just starting to feed them, looks like they need some Nitrogen. But before that, I'd transplant them into real pots, with some good soil. The roots stretch out a little bit so you get yourself a more stabilized Foundation.

Ok, but I do have a question. How can the PH be out of whack if I've been makin sure the water was right before I water. And I have also checked the PH of the soil also.

Could for different reasons, but to name a few, are you sure your meter or whatever your method your using is accurate? Also, some soils aren't ph stable, and added to that, with only using a small cup as a container, having less soil means the pH itself in the soil can shift 'faster' because of it being less mass, it dries quicker. There is a lot of controversy based on whether pH is affected by soil wetting and drying but I tend to think it has a lot to do with it especially if there isn't a large amount of soil because it would make any shift more abrupt and drastic because of less time being needed for it to happen. Keep us updated on how everything turns and keep asking around here if you need more help with anything.

Man my shit is root bound like a bitch. How do I fix?

Man alot of bullshit answers here. Your plants are plenty small enough to still be in solo cups. Start giving them small amounts of nutes (around 25% of what directions state). Then in about 4-5 days transplant and water only. I usually do water, water, nutes. Works great.

Root bound.. Just replant them in bigger containers, itll allow the roots to branch out a bit. Just be careful of overwatering. Bigger container =more soil =longer time to dry out. A trick is to just water around the base of the plants to avoid over saturating the whole pot. Once the girls grow a bit and start drinking more/faster it'll be less of an issue because the medium will be dying much faster. Fungus gnats love soggy soil And they, well, mainly their larva are the real problem. The little clear worm like bastards feed on the plants roots causing all sorts of symptoms. So yeah, repot if root bound, just err on the side of caution not to overwater if you go that route.
