Why are my leaves turning yellow and dieing like this?

Ive been vegging my plant indoors for quite a few months now and it all has been good until a week or two ago when I noticed some leaves were turning yellow. I added liquid plant food over a few days thinking it was some sort of nutrient deficiency but that has not helped. I water the plant every other day with 2-3 liters of water. It is nearly 5 ft tall with many tops and is definitely a female so I want to keep it going but I fear that if I don't take action soon it will die. My question is what could be causing this. Below I am attaching pictures of leaf clippings that show what the decaying process looks like in hopes someone can tell me the issue.0514171514a.jpg

Is it the older leaves getting the yellow or newer growth? If its mostly at the bottom or older leaves it could be a nitrogen deficiency. I would also check your ph level, it may not be getting the nutes it needs. I would also make sure you have a good amount of run off when watering so you dont lockout any nutes.

Hello! Did your leaves look like an eagles talon before they died? May have looked like dropping so you fed them with some nitrogen?

Do not give your plant any more nitrogen. Your plant is poisoned. It has nitrogen toxicity. If your in 5 gallon pails. Run 12 gallons of water through your pot letting the excess runoff until the pH is 6.0 after let dry for 5 days or until pot feels like it is full of air. Then water with 1/4 strength nutes for Flower. At this point you have plenty of nitrogen for the rest of the grow. Use a 0-10-10 at 1/4 the recommended dose per gallon. After your feeding fun water for the next 2 feedings then nutes again and add too 1/2 only if you see the very bottom leaves turning yellow if not go with 1/4 like before.

Nitrogen overdoses result in (dark green) foliage and weak stems. Losing a couple of leaves from the base of your plant is common from time to time on larger plants. Now, if the plant is losing a large portion of yellow leaves, and the yellowing is traveling upward fast, you have a serious issue here with N deficiency. But since you said you have given nutes, they are not recieving them meaning they either have a ph problem, or they need to be flushed.

give us a couple of pics of the whole plant in natural light, the leaf pics are good, but there are a lot of other clues that help with diagnosing problems, what kind of medium, watering schedule, the general health of the plant

Exactly what I said flush the plants. And if the leaves are clawing like an eagles talon and dying off at the TOP of the plant if nitrogen toxicity for sure. Just my opinion.

Just guessing but he probably is using MG. It causes pH and to much nitrogen if not flushed on a regular basis. Again just an opinion.

Nitrogen toxicity will cause necrosis of the affected leaves all over the plant. Not enough nitrogen will cause necrosis of the leaves from the bottom of the plant upwards searching for nitrogen.

Sounds & looks like N deficiency, NOT toxicity. adding fertilizer will not help leaves that have already started yellowing. If overall growth has slowed, and the oldest fan leaves (toward bottom of branches) turning yellow first, this is very likely N deficiency.

With N toxicity, all leaves will be DARK green, leaves slightly cupped, and tips of oldest fan leaves will turn brown & crispy. If just the very tips brown, it is mild N toxicity.
If more extensive burn then the remedy is flushing.

All - Ca & Mg readily available at pH's 5.8 and up, so if pH in this range Cal-Mag is usually not the remedy.

Also, when remedying nutrient deficiencies, try foliar spray of dilute complete fertilizer. This bypasses soil & is directly absorbed by plant, and virtually impossible to overfertilize using this method
