My medium is Canna Tera Plus soil. I've read that soil PH should run in the 6.3 - 6.8 range. Is this an accurate analogy?
You read so many forums trying to do the right thing and you dont know if what ypur doing wrong or right.
You have holes in the bottom of that trash can? You better.
A 400w ? You should be doing a 600 MINIMUM.
Kinda overkill for what you can grow in that size "pot" in that little of an area, eh?
Soil Ph? How are you metering it? The real deal accurate way is with an expensive handheld meter with a specialized soil probe.
The pH of soil for cannabis? Golden is 6.5.
Soil self pH's with a symbiotic relationship with the soil to the range the plant likes.....Improperly ammended soil can shift out to improper ranges and problems like "salty" or over use of nutrients can block other nutrient uptake by changing the soils resting pH.
Feeding properly and delivering the watering/feeding at a safe pH range will ensure no pH troubles. Your growing with synthetics so simply adjusting the in-going solutions to 6.5 in veg and 6.7 in bloom - should keep you safe.. Remember to NOT over feed.
