New to Rockwool. Clone help?

So I have all ways just grown from seed. Recently saw a friend's op and decided to start cloning. I too a bunch of clones off my plants before flipping to 12/12. I pre soaked in 5.5 50 ppm water. Out of the faucet with pH down to reach 5.5. never done this before so I am not sure if the size of clones to cut? They are in my closed above my ac it stays at 79-81 degrees. Probably should have researched. So it's day 8 and I have checked a couple and there are tiny roots growing. Like 1/8 in or smaller. So they have been out of the domes for 4 days. Mist 2x a day with 6.0 50 ppm tap water that has set for 24 hours. I can clone anytime have a fruitfull mother so mortality is really an issue. Just want to figure it out so I can rest easy.
Question 1 : How tall should I cut my clones.
Question 2 : Are my roots on track?
Question 3 : When should I put in my 1/² gallon pots for rooting?

1) as tall as you want. a couple stems or leaves at least.
2)yes
3)as soon as you see roots coming out of the rooting cube
