Almost topped the Peach this morning. They are at 8 nodes already. {sprouts above ground about 1 April} Didn't do it. Will do some LOB work on them when I move them to the patch.

And now it's time for Hurricane Head, the Next Generation. Three of the four have sprouted. I put them in the four holes the Peach had just vacated. They might be too young for full sun, but then they are slotted to go into a Darwin Dope patch. #Survival of the Dankest

I moved the sprouts I planted for the BIL this morning too. They were 8/8 of B&S X CP1, 4/4 of Ass Cheese, 0/4 Gorille de Raisin and 2/4 of Hurricane Head. The GdR seeds were the lighter ones from my smoke bag, not the ones from the seed bag. I will do him some more the next good above ground day.

I sunk the pots in a chicken proof location. I'll tend them a couple three more weeks, then hand then off to him.

I think I misspoke. I should have said 10 April. They were transplanted into the pots a couple of days after breaking ground, and that was on 12 April. So approaching a month old.

I dropped 4 Little Sister seeds this morning. Little Sister is BST2 {GN} X BST2 {GN} This is a sister strain to Peach and Rotten Stinking Bastard. But the male was a BST2 other than Big & Stinky. {I used Grapish BS to smoke my ceremonial hits}

And that reminds me of another song about being from Texas.

Two if the best things that ever came out of Texas - Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison.

Buddy was out in the middle of nowhere (Lubbock) creating music that influenced The Beatles. The Beatles name came from Buddy's SiIver Crickets.

The album version of In Dreams by Roy has that mariachi band thing going aka Tex Mex which is fantastic. A voice from heaven too. What emotion.

The Beatles idolized both of these guys.

That sucks with the rain. I could use a little here. I'm popping a few BST's all along, but haven't done any of my good seeds yet. Will start toward the end of the month most likely. The way these weeks are flying by, it will be here in no time.

Looking forward to watching your grow.

I took food and water to the seedlings about midnight last night, using the light of the full moon. Went back at daylight to take pictures. The Hurricane Head with the funky leaf is still funky. Only two of the four look really good.

A week or so ago someone on one of the noob threads ask me about my soil mix. Can;t remember which one, and I always un-follow those when I'm not as high or bored. I was potting tomatoes today and ran out of mix, so this is a chance to post what went into today's mix. This is my standard Adult Tomato mix, but can be souped up a little for weed.

5 gallons buckets of

1 Cow manure compost
1 Chicken manure compost
1 High Cotton compost
2 Peat Moss
2 Sungrow potting soil
1 Jungle Growth potting soil
1 Scott's Moisture Control potting soil

Cups of

2 lime
2 lime, crushed
2 blood meal
2 bone meal
4 Epson Salt
4 Perilite
2 Vermiculite
16 Coffee Ground compost
2 5-2-3 Organic ferts

The Gorille de Raisin I started for the BIL are not looking great, so I put down four more of the seeds last night. These from the real seeds, not the light seeds that came from my garden stash.

Also this morning, I put 2 Hurricane Head seeds in each of the two pots where they had failed to pop. I only had four seeds left in that bag, so used them all. I had the camera, but forgot to take pictures. But 18 of the original 20 seeds I planted are up, and all but the GdR looking good.
