Why the Frig are Plants showing Sex in Veg!?

400w Metal Halide...6 hours off/18 on. I've seen it on at the proper times. Makes no sense. Definitely not Autos. Just found plants are showing signs of sex. Been vegging like 4-6 weeks.

What a pain in the ass, I just wanted to get big enough branches to take cuttings, I mean that's where I'm at, but I was hoping to get clones taken to keep vegging for the next round and I'm afraid they are turning early. Just doesn't feel ideal

extend the lights on to 20 or 24 and it will slow it down, but preflowers are a good thing

Been out of it a long time, just started again. This group in Veg are round two. First group didn't sex early.

What's weird is there are a few clones, and some plants about a week apart, but the are all showing at once.

it won't flower. Don't worry about that. they are called preflowers and are completely normal for that long of veg.

Take your clones, your clones won't flower. Don't worry. It's 110% normal.

I start scoping my plants at the nodes around week three. Sometimes you can get a glimpse of a pistil coming out before a preflower even sets in. I usually get my sexing right before i even flip to flower. Sometimes I'm wrong but not very often

Honestly I had heard of preflowers, but I jumped to just thinking I was messing up. This actually makes life much easier. I dont have to mess with sexing in the Bloom box.
