Help new guy here.

Pots do not mater one bit its light and canopy. You can grow one plant in a 5x5 or 16 in the 5x5 the yeald will be the same. More pots is more work but veg time is less because your growing smaller plants. Less plants is easier but veg is longer because it takes biger plants to fill the area.

Ok so ill want to do at least 2 different strains. So being that i don't work i can manage smaller pots. Im in Canada BTW would you mind putting together a list of essentials for when i do the switch?. Also what do people use to keep your average grow tent cool? Is it a AC or just proper intake and outake?

I knew they would turn around for you. The new growth looks good. Personally I think you should stick with DWC... You have the proper tools and you can always get decent help on these forums if you run into trouble. Good luck with your grow!

depends on your lighting and ware your garden is. basement, closet, bedroom, hps, led, cfl, cmh, is there central air or no ac, ect. need more details. I talk to my new customers abought this every day lol.

example...
I have a 315 cmh In a 3x3x7 tent and a 630 de cmh in a 5x5x7. both tents are in a bedroom in a home with central air.
cmh lights are as hot as hid in the first place. hid lamps turn 60% of the electric into heat and 40% into light. cmh its 50%50% anywho a little 40 cfm booster fan on top of the tent pulling out heat. fresh air enters bottom flaps room stays 70-75 so does the tent. same for the 5x5 except its a 6 in inline fan and filter pulling out heat. now if it was a 600 watt hps it would require an air cooled fixture.... unless its in a basement most basements stay around 64. your fan and filter alone would probably be enough in that case

It will be a 4x4x8 with the HID light can do 600/750/1000 watts. Top floor and Centeal air in house.

Hi guys I am anew grower I had problems with my new plants first leaves turn grey
hard to tell when there that small especially in coco. in soil they get all they need from it for the first 3 weeks or so. coco has nothing and even leaches calcium. it only gets what you give and just starting out its easy to over or under feed. as small as they are deficiency looks just like over feed or light stress. sooooo without more information ill give an educated guess. the easiest thing to check and fix is ph. the first pic with the drooping crisp bottom leaves but health new growth I have had seedlings that looked like that in the past I'm sure it was from to much light. on the second pic the leaves are starting to curl up at the edges thats sign of overwatering. that shouldn't be the case in coco. are you being sure to water to 20% runoff every day?

run it at 600 in an ac hood should be fine. maby kick it up to 750 the last week or 2. 1000 is way to big for a 4x4

No a 1000 is not too big for a 4x4, I use one in a 40 inch x 40 inch tent and rock the shit out of the plants in doing so , I do need a 5k but ac to keep it all cool but it runs just fine , keep about 20 inches between the hood and the plants and no problems .

They look good bro. Maby use some deleafing. If the foilage is to dence than air cant get through. Or maby some training here are 3 pics of some 5 week old plants first is before training and pulling off a few carefully selected leaves. Second is after training and last is next day. Notice at week 5 thay have 10 tops already depending on this is the second time i did this to this run.
