You need to run them at 720mA(80mA each 8S string x 9P= 720mA) to get the same efficiency like the H-Series strip(which is 8S6P at 480mA:6=80mA). This way the diodes works with the same current and efficiency.
The H-Series is rated 50°C and the other to 65°C and the chips work with 125mA not with 80mA and therefor less efficient.
You can drive them at 720mA but you would probably not safe much money.
Clearly he understands the finer points of this more than i do and you should put more weight in his opinions. Im just a pothead who is geeking out on light technology, lmao.
