What should I name my new seed company

A few years ago my kid took vacation on the caribbean island of St. Lucia and gave me a small pill bottle of seeds maybe 50-60 or so. She had been hiking and came across a wild (non farmed) spread of sativa. So I got 50+ seeds of a land race sativa from that island. It's nice and cool but in the course of genetics, those seeds represent a very very small sample size of what that "strain's" genome is. I gave some away, grew some out, and now I have to replenish my seed stock from maybe around 15 seeds; my gene pool is seriously tiny now. Take as many college and graduate level courses in genetics, you'll need them both for credibility and understanding of what you wish to do.

I learned that little chart about the s1, s2, something like that i think i forgot most of it. forreal thanks for the advice I will look into the genetics, never thought of it in that way. Im 19 dont have much money but maybe i can go to the community college for some courses once I start to become a real breeder.

Start at a JC, but you'd better have an affinity and enjoy the subject for itself. If you are good at it and understand the topic, you can scholarship/grant/etc to University. Maybe in 10 yrs you'll be ready to start a real science based seed company; otherwise you'll be no different than any of these existing companies; both the credible and the dip-shits
