Ha nice, but good luck getting other morel mushroom hunters to tell you anything about anything lol. I can't even get my own dad to show me his spots. The people that I know, find a spot, and try their best to keep it a secret
Well, it's mostly bc they know a person will steal their spot... however I will fill you in on anything you'd like to know as where to locate um bro... (:

Hah nice. This guy isn't crazy though lol, there is an entire hobby devoted to finding morel mushroom sites, bc then the hobbiest learns how to keep that site protected and keep it reproducing. It's a hobby for some, for others, it's just more food
Hell yeah, exactly!! I will tell you this. When you pick a Morel, it has roots.. some people just cut um off even at the ground, leaving the roots, mainly so they will reproduce. However I have found that if you pull one by the roots, it has mycelium growing. Looks like cotton. I pinch that off and place it back into the ground in different spots... then wait for a good rain, give it a week or so and go back to that spot and bam!!! Morels everywhere!!!

Can you make spore prints with those? I don't really understand the difference between morels, truffles, and mushrooms besides taxonomy.

Mmmmmm, Morels. Havent been out yet but plan on looking in next few days. Found a nice patch a couple years ago and there still there. Will try to find last years pics and upload if u can.

Morel hunting and searching for grow spots go hand in hand. Gives me the perfect reason to be in the woods.

Hell yeah.. I loved growing them.. just hated it when I'd work my ass off and a few jars would go contaminate!! Would tick me off to no end.. lol
I use sterile rye berry spawn bags with a self-healing injection port and filtered vent. I live near a scrap yard, so I want as little risk of contamination as possible.

I want to, but I'm not familiar enough with my current location to start a guerilla grow.

I have about 5 little 'yote pups that just started growing, though.

I tried corn & bird seed. Had a few do good with the corn, and birdseed. However more so the birdseed.
