Redd, I am no more hypocratic than you. You espouse the Ron Paul Mantra and leap on the Palin bandwagon mach-schnell. Talk about hypocracy. I've basically been for the democratic candidate from day one.^^^ Thank you for that wonderful, unbiased account there, Med.
Anyone else see the hypocrisy at work here?

Of course you have, Med. You are a Marxist ... and there's no other candidate for you to support other than O'Bama.Redd, I am no more hypocratic than you. Anyone that supports Palin, that's who. BTW, the true mantra of Karl Marx was not that bad, it was all the political bullshit that killed it.Of course you have, Med. You are a Marxist ... and there's no other candidate for you to support other than O'Bama.
I, on the other hand, STILL support Ron Paul and his ideas. But, Ron Paul hasn't a chance of winning. So, with that in mind, I've shifted my support to another libertarian ... Sarah Palin.
You've taken the position that Democrats hacking into private Email accounts is OK ... but on the other hand, tapping into international phone calls made by known terrorists is the complete destruction of the Fourth Amendment.
Who's the hypocrite?

I've noticed that since the new rules have been passed against personal attacks here at RIU, you really don't have much to say. Why is that, Med?Anyone that supports Palin, that's who. BTW, the true mantra of Karl Marx was not that bad, it was all the political bullshit that killed it.
Geeze, I don't rightly know. I guess you havent been reading my posts. I've posted ten to one words by you, some of it may actually be interesting. I've been told that before. It seems like you are the one that now finds no rebuttals to my posts and have to resort to calling me names, Hah, the worm has turned. I just decided that this forum is just bullshit anyway, so I don't get upset with idiots like you.I've noticed that since the new rules have been passed against personal attacks here at RIU, you really don't have much to say. How do you figure she would be responsible for the security of our nation?Hey All !!!
Anyone who is familiar with the Internet should be aware of the hackers, they are a pretty common thing these days.
There are ways to secure Internet transmissions
I am Outraged that a person who can not secure their own email,
may be responsible for the security of our Nation.
Since it was a personal email account, the hacker should be treated as if they hacked any one of our accounts.
If it were an official government account, then it would be a another story all together.
But thats just how I rollitup.
As Viredd says, A heartbeat away. How do you figure she would be responsible for the security of our nation?
As much as you might hate the idea of it, the law should be dispensed fairly, based on the severity of the crime, not who the criminal is related to.Its not "reasonable" at all. This guy is the son of a Democrat state legislator. He was looking for "dirt" in order to damage the McCain/Palin campaign.
Oh, how the Libbies scream over 18 minutes of erased cassette tape (Nixon) but find the hacking of a candidate's personal E-mail account to be acceptable.
Just a "kid?" The guy is a 20-year-old college student. Old enough to go to fight a war and to vote .... and to undermine political campaigns.

Fine with me. From what I understand, the penalty for hacking a personal E-mail account in Alaska is five years in state prison. Let's hope the Governor of Alaska will extradite this ass-wipe from the state of Tennessee to face charges. He should be punished as severely as any criminal who accesses a non-government email account that doesn't belong to them, regardless who it belongs to.
As far as punishment, thats a tough call. I think he should be punished, this was a crime that he committed. But it's my understanding that he didn't post any damaging information. It's my understanding that he actually posted useless information on purpose as if to say "Here, I can hack you, you need to fix your shit." It was, in fact, another member of Anonymous that sent the email to Palin's rep informing her that the email had been hacked and that Palin needed to take actions. He sent it under the guise "Good Anonymous", as if to say, sorry, we have some dumbasses in our group that do stupid shit. So, as far as punishment, what kind of punishment does any dumbass get for hacking into a private yahoo account. It happens thousands of times a day. Hence the official saying Palin shoudln't use a Yahoo account. I don't think this is a Democrats vs Palin thing. I think this is a noob hacker vs a yahoo account thing. Its not "reasonable" at all. This guy is the son of a Democrat state legislator. He was looking for "dirt" in order to damage the McCain/Palin campaign.

Yahoo servers are in California. 16 months in jail and/or a fine that may not exceed $10,000. I foresee a public apology and a plea deal, no jail time, supervised release.Fine with me. If it were up to Palin, I'm sure she would forgive and just say "forget it." But ... McCain? That's a different story all together. I have a sense that McCain is a Pitbull who doesn't wear lipstick ~lol~Yahoo servers are in California. 16 months in jail and/or a fine that may not exceed $10,000. Thankfully, it's not up to either of them, in the criminal case anyway. Yahoo is the victim here, it was their property which was trespassed upon. Palin may pursue civil damages if she feels that she was wronged in a way that needs financial compensation. If it were up to Palin, I'm sure she would forgive and just say "forget it." But ... That "innocent" little hacker you all admire will be doing time with Bubba. He will be made an example of. Yeah, he's stupid ... so he'll be made an example of sheer stupidity.
