New light schedule. Next crop, I'm gonna grow it as if it was outside my door but in fast motion. Gas lantern has given me good results. I can improve it by the feel of my plants.

Next crop will be GSC. 8 seeds in eight 1 gallon fabric pots.

The seeds will get 24hrs light until the seed shell falls off the sprout. Height about 2" in grodan cubes. It'll take about day or two to get strong true leaves. Stuck in promix and the light schedule will be as follows.

Veg.

14hr day for two weeks.

13.5 for one week.

13 for one week to week and half. Depends on plant height. My aim is 11" tall.

Flower.

11.45 for two weeks.

11 for two weeks.

10.5 x 2

Finish at 10hrs a day.

Bubblegum was cut down five days ago.

Looking over the feeding plan. Micro is 5-0-1. Grow is 2-1-6. Bloom 0-5-4.

I understand GH made this stuff but their basic feeding ratios sure seem like it's for retarded tomatoes. I poured a lot nitrogen to these plants. Most of it came from the damn Micro. That 5-0-1...

Whatever General Hydroponics...Ill do what want'

Revised feeding schedule. In order, micro, grow, bloom

Week 4.

2ml/2/2 (reference GH calls for 4ml/4/4)

Week 5

2ml/1/2.5

Week 6

2ml/1/2.5 (reference 4ml/1/5)

Week 7

1ml/1/3

Week 8

1ml/1/3

Week 9

1ml/0/4 (reference GH calls for 4ml/0/8. That's 4ml of 5-0-1 fertilizer this late in flower)

Week 10

0ml/0/4 (same Damn thing, 4ml/0/8)

Watered on a 2 and 1 schedule. Two times in a row with nutes. One flush. 20% run off.

Revised light schedule because of banana issues in the late 8th week of flower.(Bubblegum no likey diminished light but Girl Scout cookie is rocking out)

14.5 hour day. Reduced through veg down to 13. Flower flip will be 11.45hrs. They'll stay at that for the duration of flower. Up to the three last weeks of flower. Then it's optional. We'll see what happens.

Since the GSC enjoyed this grow the most. Next crop is eight seeds in cabinet 1. Cabinet 2, another 8 seeds after I get the monster mess plants out. Vegged way too long. Ill breed more GSC seeds.

The bubblegum that was seeded produced 5.60 grams of seeds with 16grams of flower. Finished height of the plant at harvest was around 20" tall.

Flower flip February 11. Pollinated on the 2nd of March. Cut down April 19. She made an easy 200+ seeds. Less then 5% of the seeds produced were non-viable. (Blonde or light green)

What bud that was left over was made into cannabutter. Decarbed at 235°f for 40mins. Two sticks of salted butter melted in boiling water. Weed added and heated at a low simmer for 3 hours and 16mins. Butter strained and stuck in the fridge over night. Then drained, broke up, and placed in the freezer.

Now the girl scout needs to finish. Estimated time, late next week. Maybe another three days more.

Those plants were cut and are three days into cure. Another 12 seeds were planted.

Here's the next crop. Seeds planted directly to soil on May 1st. So that makes them 24 days old. Watered a total three times since then. The first watering was compost tea. Second watering was more compost tea with liquid fish added. Third watering was GH at 1ml-1ml-1ml in PH corrected soft water.

4th watering will be 2ml-2ml-2ml. Then they'll be big enough to handle a flush. After that a flowering regimen on the nutes.

I got a feeling by the looks and size. The top left and the center lower plant are male. There might be another male in the group. If that top left plant is male. He's the one that's getting bred with the best female. The other 6 plants are sprouts in a different cabinet. About 4 days old.

The white stick is 12" above the soil. The second black line below the top is 8".

They're going into a bigger space in a couple days. 2' x 4' x 71"'. The lateral branches are exploding. They're 4 nodes high and in a week and half they should add another two. I'm gonna flip to flower at 10" high.

Light schedule right now is a 15 hour day. Flower is going to be a hard flip to 11.45. Ill probably do a 24hrs dark period right before.

And....they're 8" tall. Fu¢kers are 27 days old from seed. By tomorrow they'll be 9". Time to flower, Ill flip tomorrow. There's two males showing sex. The big ones in the center haven't sexed yet. Which is good. In my experience, males sex first. We'll see in a week.

After playing with doses.

Revised fertilizer plan. The doses these plants will see and have seen.

First watering was compost tea. 1 tablespoon black strap, 1 cup worm crap, 1 gallon soft water. Second watering was the same but with a 1/3rd dose of Alaskan liquid fish. Third watering was 1ml/1ml/1ml.

4th watering will be plain PH corrected soft water. Then the following. Depending on when they need water. Fertilizer for two waterings in a row. Third is a flush.

Week 4, 2ml-2ml-2ml to one gallon water. PH corrected. 6.0-6.5 range.

Week 5, 2-1-2.5

Week 6, 2-1-2.5

Week 7, 2-1-3

Week 8, 1-1-3

Week 9, 1-0-4

Week 10, 1-0-4

Week 11, 0-0-4

That's quite interesting. Your formula looks quite a bit lower in strength to many I've seen from other growers or even what I used. Were you finding you were getting nute burn or are you finding this is your sweet spot?

On the previous crop, I found strengths over 50% were a bit hot for the plants. This crop grew faster then I expected and the beginning doses were changed. Instead of a starting dose of 2m/2/2. 1/1/1 was applied for three consecutive waterings. 4 gallons of nute mix to 6, two gallon pots. Starting in the mid 3rd week.

Next watering will be a flush. Using compost tea. The next dose after that will be 2/1/2.5 for two consecutive feedings. Then another flush. This time plain ph corrected soft water. That should cover feeding during the first stages of stretch. By that time the plants will be in beast mode. Filling out and developing flowers.

The doses as I have them are a hair low. After giving them the nutes they bush up. By the time they need water again, they have a very slight look of being hungry.

At the current doses. The plants don't lie. Explosive growth, no nute burn, and a healthy soil.

Rough morning. I guess I ran them drier then I thought. I watered last Tuesday morning. About three gallons of water. Routinely checking the pots. I go by the feel of soil verses the weight. Plants weren't showing anything about being dry. The dirt was cold and damp. Figured I'd water today instead Saturday. Get it over with.

I made 4 gallons of tea. Gave them the whole thing. Figured again, they'd only take three gallons.... The excess water sat on top the soil...and sat. No drainage, no run off. Well basturd. When I made the pots up, I packed the soil lightly to fill make sure the fabric pots were filled at all corners.

They took 5 gallons of water to get run off and I spilled some compost tea. Double basturd. Mmmm, the smell of mud in the morning.

@SouthCross looking good mate.

Well sorta. You gotta look close.

Since I gave them 1/1/1 instead of 2/2/2. I cut it close to not being enough nitrogen in week 3 of veg.

Check it out. Notice the colors. It's subtle. Look at the reflection off the back wall. They needed more nitrogen.

This picture was taken 3 days later after a dose of 1.5/1.5/1.5. Notice the difference in green? A voice told me to add liquid fish to the compost tea. 3 tbsp in 4 gallons. It'll be the last time these plants see it.

Water intervals are getting tight. Next dose, 2/.5/2.5
