I don't have a TDS meter right now. Only a simple PH. I honestly didn't think I needed to follow PPM in a growing medium. Thought that was more for hydro. But I guess it does make sense! Thanks for the tip!
That plant came out really frosty! With the exception of yield, it looks every bit as good as my favorite photo strain i ever grew. sunset sherbet. I highly suggest that strain for massive yields. I'll share a close up of an old nug from a previous grow since were sharing pics and experiences.
If you're growing in coco/perlite which I think you said is what your growing in...that's considered a soilless medium,....so to my knowledge you are suppose to follow similar guidelines to more main line hydro systems (similar nutrients etc). I'm sure there is someone that can explain it better so you can reap even larger harvest! I have yet to transfer my grows to growing in coco, but I'm on my way. I started with buying a r/o filtration system, then my next purchase will be a blue lab ppm/ec meter. So I do agree with the person above, if growing in coco, to reap the full benefits, probably need to measure the nutes with a ppm meter. My best answer would be yes but total effect really depends on the strain. I had a bad run a few cycles back where I was unable to water two plants when they really needed it, tried to make up for it with a good water. One strain was very forgiving and recovered just fine. The other wilted up and completely dried out and died within a few days.
Nice! hopefully you get a lot out of it. And thanks for the heads up. I will probably just continue to watch it really closely until they are almost full size at least. I'm guessing then it is probably better to over water than under water. Even though I know neither are good. It's definitely proving to be really hard to figure out how to get a water schedule with these small plant starts in large containers. Im pretty excited. Not as big as the ones out west from what I hear but this is the first one taking place with both Maine and Massachusetts being legal! There's speakers all day along with seminars, a bunch of vendors and stuff to win! Hoping to hand out a few resumes as well...

My Dutch Passion is doing the same thing right now. My theory is that with the plant having such a short life cycle, I could just be the fan blowing it in one direction during a big growth spurt for a few days and it just leaned a little. I've definitely had it happen a few times and I just figure it's normal at this point lol.

Did the rounds and ended up with a few bags full of free stuff from pens and stickers to new nutes and medium additives to try. Hit up a seminar that convinced me to switch over to HPS in the near future(although I think I'm going to use the LEDs as supplemental and see what that brews up...) By that time all the nice free gift bags were gone, the place was wicked packed and vendors were running out of samples!
Dangggg, you are to stoked ha! That's awesome. Hps has done wonders for me but I've never personally compared it to led lights. Just a heads up before you throw a bunch of good bud into that machine,...if you don't already know how,...its best to research the how's and whys behind making butter, oils, tinctures. I had one of my own just to see how useful it was. It made GREAT cannabutter, but it definitely isn't "just throw your stuff in and turn it on). Ha. Its a bit of a mess but this was all the stuff my mother and I walked out with from free samples(minus our ticket cost and she bought the magic butter maker finally)
It was a great environment with a lot of awesome people. I feel like I learned a good amount from going, and I can't wait to put it to use then go back again next year

Nicely done! That's the awesome thing about growing, there's always a learning curve or just simply put, different methods. Those plants look awesome. I'll be really impressed if my autos are comparable to yours by the end. I'll just post an update of my autos. The two larger ones (I started a week before the others) are showing signs of preflowering already. The two oldest aren't even a month old yet (I don't think anyway). When would be a good time to start adding some veg/transition nutes. The soil I use has plenty of nutes to keep a plant going for about a month (roots organic). Also, does anyone know when the best time to switch over to hps. Should I wait to see some legit buds growing before I switch. ThanksLooks awesome man! This was the best quality picture I could get of the new setup. My phones camera lense reacted very strange to the HPS and LED being on at the same time.
I went with a 400w HPS kit from HTG. I can't believe how bright it is. If I can get a decent cycle going, my plan/experiment is to veg the autos with my LEDs while the older autos will bloom under the HPS, possibly adding in the small MARSHYDROs as supplemental lights if I think I need it and can safely power everything.
Oh, and I picked up a TDS meter finally. It's all starting to come together now!
