They reduced the figure killed in the Holocaust by quite a margin because the original one served as propaganda. Makes total sense when you try to imagine an army fighting on every front yet still having the resources to kill that many people?. Many died because food/medical care for prisoners > civilians got shafted, again due to a war on every front.. and bombs didn't just hit Germans. Was it Hitlers fault for starting the war? it's not that black and white. He started out very noble, he was pushed because that model tread on deeper things you likely don't care about/comprehend. He allowed that push to turn him into the demon he became. People reading this if interested should really take a closer look into the history of that war but you should do it with an open mind. The Nazis got slated for doing experiments on Jews during the war, along with other things. After the war America ship over a lot of those German scientists. Not too long after that, unofficial alien sightings and abductions began (before the 60's). Fast forward to recent times and your government publicly apologized for abducting and experimenting on it's own people. Can't help but think those scientists planted the seed or were directly involved. If not, at least they were not doing it on their own people during peace time.
It's not about trusting mainstream media, it's about trusting governments who own it. Not sure who owns the governments though, I think it's lizards, right buck?.

Google scholar and books are a thing, as are credible YouTube vids. I first learned of the British role in the Indian famine on YouTube, another big deal you don't get taught about. I'm all for letting bygones be bygones but damn... the history books sure did throw a lot of mud at the Nazis. So much I think not enough was left for us? ;p.
