They don't use GPS as their main targeting/navigation system, its only used after initial launch when over water so if anything it should be considered a launch system.

We were talking about how you could potentially jam them, yes it was technically inaccurate to say they "don't use it" but the point being made in context was that they don't use it on approach/for targeting.
I would not say they are impossible to jam, but I have never seen nor heard it being done. Is so that would be a game changer.

It's possible but I think the leap in technology required to do it would have obsoleted the Tomahawks either way.

Laser pew pew pew.

I consistently hear this, but I have not heard what happens after. Can you explain that part for me, please?
What do you mean "after"?

Assad is attacking and killing his own people, with chemical weapons and bombings. He's hired ISIS and Russia to come help "clean up the mess".

Assad needs to die. Period.

And good for Trump to bomb them. Wish he had done more, but we can't expect much from that dipshit.

i would support taking out assad's military air strips - if it was led by a competent leader and if it was done with the actual goal of disabling them and if it had congressional authorization.

as it is, all we got was a $100 million dollar fireworks show that left them able to fly missions the very next day.

I'm trying to look on the positive side of things. At least The Donald didn't actually side with Assad.

Well, I'm sure he did behind closed doors, him and Putin were probably laughing about it on a conference call. But Ivanka told daddy to drop a couple bombs on a nearly abandoned air strip and let everyone know how Yuge your military is.

I have a Republican friend who tells me we bombed Syria and Afghanistan because North Korea. Literally. Like that.

Republicans are not a bright bunch.
