they have a hormone that will promote root growth, be sure to cut at 45 degree angle and with a clean (new/sterolized) razor. i did that with my plant thats doing quite well now because i originally had it in soul and burned the shit out of its root system and figured i'd start fresh b/c i was putting it in a hydro setup anyway. best of luck
Yes it will, i made a small mound of soil round the base of my plants stem because it was a bit loose in the soil when i transplanted, this made it a bit more sturdy, after a few days once it had anchored itself in nicely i flattened the soil back down and there were some nice fresh thick roots coming out of the main stem just above soil level. Hope this helpsIf my seedlings are too long and I bury their stem with dirt, will the stem eventually grow roots cause its under dirt?
it's pretty much the same thing if you think about it. what are you doing? Removing and existing root system and trying to promote growth or roots for whatever reason or another.... (the only difference is its the whole plant instead of a small portion of a mother) same differencethat seems more like cloning, total different technique.
