i have no idea..i switch a light on and it works..i get a bill in every 3 months for around $500 and pay it

Poor people get a discount of cause.

Its just electricity...everybody has it....

No need to get defensive, dont you see that its wrong for people in a 1st world country not to have acces to electricity and clean running water?

We do. The purest in the world with technology the world over to clean it. You're probably using our technology.

Electricity is incredibly powerful and reliable.

As for the rest. Read books written by Ayn Rand. It'll explain the rest. In detail. Let's not get it twisted.

I lived there 6 months. I found the local culture extremely proud and extremely violent. Family structure superseded everything else. Meaning somebody wouldn't kill you if your child was present.

Poor state. Run down. Impoverished through out. I visited a dwelling of a hard working soul. No running water or electricity. Water was by a hand pump. .
then why say this?

This gentleman had the same one life point as the rest of us. Also sought the same peace as me and you.

Ignorant he wasn't. In fact, Ignorant wasn't common in the population. Contrary. Bright and brilliant in dealing with this life.
Ohhhh yeah, a storied and proud history of humanity, decency, and stoic dignity....

respect to those that struggle would be better in the form of improved infrastructure that could provide them with clean running water as well as access to electricity, phone, and internet.
