The ultimate goal of legalisation is not the profits people have been making in this transitional period.
But to allow people to grow and access for personal use on their own property in the privacy of their homes. At virtually no cost.
The truth is if you have even average soil, if you put a seed in there and water it when it shows it is thirsty, you are going to grow acceptable weed.
We all like tomatoes, almost none of us would be willing to pay for tomatoes grown under paid-for lighting in hydro absolutely requiring fertilisers.
Instead, we have it farmed outdoors and in season, and import, as well as keep some in cold storage for use throughout the year.
Why should weed be different. I think all this crossing and artificial horticulture would, in the long run, make weed less able to survive and thrive in nature or the garden.
