i was gonna say, weren't civil rights signed into law by a democratic president? and didn't the south suddenly stop voting for democrats after they signed civil rights into law?

i mean, twopumpchimp is from the south, he should know this since his entire state hated civil rights and turned against democrats when democrats signed into law the civil rights act.

it's as if twopumpchump wants to push some alternative reality that comports with a neo-nazi agenda. odd.

you're doing the same thing where you try to act like the KKK doesn't support conservatives (like you) again. let me ask a different way.

we let segregation be "worked out by the individual" for 100 years, which is what you proposed works best. and we still had racial segregation.

then we let federal government work it out. segregation ended overnight.

so do you think your theory that "segregation was best worked out by the individual" actually holds any merit?
False. Segregation was not a result of the individual. It was a result of Democrat legislation.

Segregation was not a result of the individual.
yes it was.

segregation existed even in parts of the south where no southern conservatives wrote laws mandating segregation.

even after a democrat signed civil rights into law and southerners stopped voting for democrats, some individuals in the south still tried to segregate.

surely you know that piggly wiggly tried to argue that their religious freedom gave them the right to discriminate against blacks, just as the republican party is arguing right now in order to avoid serving gay people, right?

Lets see, I'm a revisionist because I point out that it was the Democrats in our long history that thought it was cool to buy and sell people...........that people were property.............and here you are, a Democrat that thinks........

And when you're racist buddies tell me how successful they are because they are republicans, I'll be happy to point out that I can buy and sell them 100 times.

I could buy and sell you 100 times.
its a proper thought to buy and sell people. Republicans no less, hows that for history mustache?

Racist revisionist 'purple' despising rebel republicans such as yourself have little moral value.

And I bet you know Josephine Baker, Paul Robeson, Dorothy Dandridge and Marian Anderson had a hard time finding rooms and faced Jim Crow in restaurants when they toured the North in the 20's and that Robert L. Carter, the general counsel of the naacp believed that the U.S. Supreme Court had to apply in the North the same equal educational opportunities doctrine central to the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision. Carter also advocated broad legal solutions to employment discrimination. In 1964, he tried to open public construction sites to black workers by suing New York Gov. Nelson Rockefeller and New York City Mayor Robert Wagner, charging they were turning an unconstitutional blind eye on craft union discrimination. New York’s highest court, however, was unimpressed, ruling 7-0.

Oh so you just want me to enjoy your economic prosperity as you revel at the idea of buying and selling me 100 times, got it. Republicans these days are almost as bad as you are, almost. Luckily the true liberals are making a comeback.

Held down is something your party has done all to well throughout history.

The fuck you know about my party? We want to abolish the IRS and view individual people as NOT property. Something you would find repugnant.

You quote me out of context telling another broke dick that I have no life accomplishments.

And your republican right to work state buddies aren't helping bring prosperity to your neck of the woods.

Typical rebel.

I still remember seeing the 'colored only' signs you guys loved down there. If it was up to you, they'd still be there.

Or would you change colored to purple to be obtuse?

stop plagiarizing. answer the question.

piggly wiggly argued that their religious freedom gave them the right to refuse black customers.

right now, many businesses say their religious freedom gives them the right to refuse service to gay customers.

should the federal government step in to stop these individuals from segregating again?

You are an idiot because you think the word Democrat created racism, bigotry..etc.
dumb as shit
Racists created racism and overwhelmingly used the word Democrat to politically identify historically.

Sure, those places vote to be in business under limited liability just like the rest of us. If they don't like it, they can go private or operate under full liability. Their choice.

but then a democrat signed civil rights into law and it made southerners like you so made that you stopped voting for democrats forever and started voting for the party that gets endorsed by the KKK.

you never answered whether or not the fedguv should stop individuals from segregating either.

amplification of anger. thought that would go over your head.
well the last time someone told me to "put on a cape" when discussing these kids of issues, it was someone who thought his own son in law was a "low information voter" because of the fact that he was black and who "didn't see a solution anytime soon", citing the fact that hispanic people exist.

basically it's just another way of callng someone a "nigger lover", but it's used by racist cowards who are too much a bunch of pussies to actually say what they think.

you do realize the parties did a flip flop or are you really as dense as you seem, It has happened a few times in history. I would suggest you google or read up on how in 1964, during the Southern realignment what happened. Right now you are making yourself appear very very dumb and rather fucking stupid

If you put on a cape you would be super stupid.

Didn't you call that guys daughter a mudshark because she was married to said son in law?

"Because of the fact he was black"

"Basically it's just another way of calling someone"

Those are insinuated feels. You literally calling someone a mudshark is a fact.

Feels > fact for unclebunk as usual.
