5000w DE for 20lbs+ grow journal

Hey everyone,

I haven't been very active on here so I figured to start things off I'd do a grow journal. Right now I have 53 plants under 5000w of DE lights on movers all sitting on 4x8 tables with casters for easy access. Today is day 1 of flower so we can all watch an see where this goes.

Growing in pure coco coir 7, 10 and 15 gal smart pots, depending on the location, development and genetics of the plant. Using heavy 16 nuttients.

Mainly I paid attention to the phenotype of the plant prior to determining where it'll go and into what size pot. I was truly hoping to have that hole in the canopy filled in prior to flower but I was forced to flower since I was running out of room.

Like the title says, trying to pull over 20lbs with only 5000w of lights. Got 19.8 off 48 plants last time. This time they're healthier, bigger, and temps are on point so we shall see. So far we have some bets going to see how much weight we'll get.

Bet 1= 18.5lbs
Bet 2= 24.5lbs
Bet 3 = 22.0 lbs

That represents a LOT of work! I'm burning 6K+ in a space about 8 X 22. I'm looking forward to seeing how your yield comes out and how healthy the plants are in their last month...

Hey vertical. I vegged some for 6 weeks, some for 10 weeks and I have 6 4x8 tables.

2 tables have 15 plants a piece with dual trellis nets
1 table has only 4 plants (biggest plants in the room) no trellis
The other 3 tables have between 6 an 10 plants per. No trellis.

Hey Final, yeah I have 5650w total in here. Growing space is 12.5ft x 17ft for all 53 plants when tables are arranged to touch each other. The actual flower room dimensions are 15ft x 19.5ft with 9 oscillating fans for air movement in addition to other ventilation precautions.

I've been expanding under my house for the past month. Freaking soil mostly clay and brick hard... the 8 x 22 isn't quite there yet - dig dig dig...
That's one heck of a nice room you got going!

Hey 714,

For now it's hand watered with a 2500gph pump every 48 hours. After this cycle I'll toss an auto watering system in there.
