2017 Grow your own thread

An update since I started this thread. I have had basically every issue you can imagine from fungus gnats to pythium to bad well water to iron reducing bacteria, for my first RDWC grow at this place. Some plants didn't make it. Anyways finally grabbed the world by the balls, got my grade 10 and my life back on track and just flipped them into 12/12 a week ago. So here they be:View attachment 3902475 View attachment 3902477

lolololol got my grade 10, i sincerely hope this was a trailer park boys reference:clap:. if not.. then sorry for laughing at you, and congrats!

See that is the thing, most people either don't know any better because they haven't grown well or just haven't seen what this plant is capable of.

You can do much better but it takes time, patience and a willingness to learn. That is the problem with the younger generations, they have the attention span of gnats.

Did you make an assumption that I'm young? Or just younger than you?

this is what he is trying to grow over at the farm for animals lol

and he has no idea why this looks like it does (:
That is your weed masky raging dufuss....

Ugh.. guys I've never had this problem before, (it's sooo bad! :P)the buds on the big girl are starting to get too heavy for the stocks and they're bending. What should I do to support the buds? There's so many individual colas
Thanks

Question guys, the lower underside of the big one has nanners here and there and there's some seeds developing. How do I know when they're done?
They're look good, and close. When the remaining white hairs turn orange and curl like a lot of them are, check the trichs, once they're cloudy it's up to you when to chop. Looking close, another week maybe. Easier to tell when the pics are under white light or with flash in the dark.

Thanks, will post new pics in a couple days.
At the end of the month I'll take some normal lighting pics.
How will I know when the seeds are viable, so I don't harvest useless seeds too early?

Yeah it's difficult to say depends on when they were pollinated. Typically 4-5 weeks after pollination is good, I usually pollinate around 3 weeks which gives them 5-6 weeks to grow out good fat seeds. If you don't know and really want the seeds you can always leave them to mature longer. If they were pollinated by a hermie in the room you'll have to keep a close eye on those seeds for hermies when you grow them out.

If those are pictures of what he tries to grow, no wonder he buys from LPs.

Any respectable grower would be embarrassed to claim that as their own.
Agree, I see nute burn, VPD, heat stress, too little deleafing, and a couple of nanners. Ask an LP to teach you how to grow a real plant. :)
