This tabletop humidor may seem familiar to some enthusiasts of the finest in locksmith craft. And quite rightly so, because a similar model is integrated into the safes of our series “The Fortress”. After numerous customer requests, we are now offering a tabletop version. And, of course, it also has a number of features that are unrivaled.
This begins with the fact that the humidor can be opened by simply pulling out a drawer, whereas other humidors usually have a flap-hinged mechanism. The interior is made of original Spanish cedar and is atmospherically showcased by LED spotlights. The heart of every humidor is, of course, the humidifier. In the case of our new tabletop humidor, a CIGARSPA product has been perfectly integrated into the drawer. Its performance can be monitored at any time with the help of a hygrometer, barometer, and thermometer made of brushed stainless steel.

I started collecting and smoking cigars during my studies in France. Now, Spanish cedar is a must when storing your cigars and I was surprised not finding a product aimed at cannabis. You really don't have to pay 13.000 dollars. A fine small Spanish Cedar lined humidor ranges around 100 - 300 dollars. It would be sufficient for storing big nugs (small growers), the ones we call "top shelf'' for personal use. For commercial use, walk-in humidors are always an option. I do store my joints in my humidor. I roll them and store them in my humidor at 62, thanks to humidity packs. I am currently growing Durban Poison, Kosher Kush and Pineapple Express. I am thinking about curing them in my humidor at 62. That is if I will have the chance to harvest. I live in a weird situation right now where I might have to cut down my babies anytime. We will see.

I used to be a big cigar smoker, 2-3 a day. When I quit, I started using my humidor for my bud. BAD IDEA! All my bud ended up having a cedar taste....yuk. If you want something for storage, get a cheap plastic humidor with a humidity pack.

That is a fair warning there. I would say it is up to the specific taste and smell of the cannabis you want to store. I found that storing "earthy", "piney" character buds in cedar was a good idea. Maybe not so much for others? To each his own, I enjoy the cedar-ish aroma.

P.S. be sure to use a reputable dealer when buying a humidor. "Spanish Cedar" might just be some other wood at the end if you are not very well educated to the smell of Spanish cedar.

Do you think the cedar will impart a flavor to the cannabis? I've been thinking about getting a humidor myself. A cedar aroma wouldn't bother me. Just wondering if it would take on cedar hues.

Ohh, it will for sure. No way around it. That is the idea behind a Spanish cedar. It holds it humidity quite well, doesn't grow mold easily as compared to others woods and has an awesome aroma that compliments the cigars. Some manufacturers will even wrap their sticks with thin cedar cuts. Now it's another topic when it is weed. I enjoy it, some don't. It will take on the taste of cedar and your cedar will take on the smell of weed. It's like a marriage that gets better with time.
