Anybody know how to hook up ldd-1000hs to the 5up board or any of these ldd boards?

They're pretty much plug and play. RapidLED has a pretty good install guide on the product page on their site.

ya but i see they are for the reg h version not the smd type pins

Regular H series is SMD pins. HW (i.e. wired) series has cables which are not compatible with the rapid boards so far as I know. I've used HW drivers in a couple bike lights and have some H's sitting around because I initially ordered the wrong ones.

You are correct, the 4Up boards only accept the LDD-xxxxH models, the SMD style you could solder wires to and use like you would the wired type.
In the spec sheets it gives you the pin information and the 4Up boards are only to make hook up easier.
You have power input on one end and Current regulated power to COBs out the opposite end.
There's a PWM signal pin (either jumpered with pulldown resistor or left open)
There's not an easy solution, but it's not totally useless either...

this what mine look like--i got 10 got 15$ but i dunno if they will work--ill be reciving them on the 9th i can take more detail pics of them

Go to meanwell's website and download the datasheet, it will show you which pins are which. They're all the same drivers, just different pin layouts. It should work fine as long as you wire it up right.

Right again... are more pins but they are not connected (or so spec sheet says)
How many of these and what size? Did you stumble across a box full of them?
The circuit is super simple and a board to use them would be easy to design.
A two week delay getting it back from China but about $4 a board, add the
nice wire connection hardware and make your own.

1000hs off ebay. i got 10 for 15$ i couldn't pass it up was a steal im sure i can figure a use for them

you will need to put these on a board like the coralux they make them in 2-6 ldd boards http://coralux.net/?wpsc-product=ldd-6-driver-board the drivers will line up with the holes on the board now you will need a power source and a controller like the storm or arduino I used one for the far reds on my build with the dip sockets

did you use the hs version? cause if i bend the pins and line it up if it works ill do that

I missed the hs and just used the h but i would look at the data sheet and see if it would work you are only using 9 pins and if they are in the right position then its a bonus the issue would be if the pin out is different then you would have to solder wire to the pins

the hs is SMD style you will have good luck with them i just looked the driver up

SMD is surface mount component if you had the bare pcb made that is the component you have soldered onto the board

ya that what i was thinking get the board without the adapter and solder that in seem viable. i have driver to test it out when i get them ill just have to order the boards

maybe email coralux and see if they have any boards for smd drivers
they did for me and left resistors off the boards since i wanted full on and off by power not controller

yes the SMD you have got are not compatible with the LDD Carrier boards, you really need the through hole versions as the carrier boards have built in sockets that allow you to really 'plug and play', would see if supplier will swap them for you
