2016 California Election

I would like to see the actual wording for the proposition that will appear in the upcoming election. There seems to be so much political bullshit going on that the stories about who will get their way have pushed the actual propositions out of the limelight.

So, my question is - what will actually be on the ballot in the 2016 California Election? Have they got it down to one proposition yet? Can somebody give me some good links that actually show the proposed propositions?

California Control, Regulate and Tax Cannabis Initiative (2016)

if this passes, CA will be the largest land mass of legal MJ, in the world.

also, its predicted 1 billion in revenue is very short of private prospectors who value a legal CA market at 4-6 billion. as it its right now 3-10 are, or have held a medical card. that's a staggering %30 of the largest population in the US, spending on average more then $100 a month.

the death of HPS will be taxes, at those rates, its better to grow smaller high quality product, then super large operation would cost $2 bucks a sf a month, less + $15 an ounce, and permit/regulation cost fall on the grower based on size. the biggest one is environmental impact reviews, at the growers cost of course. I don't think a 1000 sf op pulling 275,000 watts in lights alone is gonna get a green light not in CA. we have to many grid problems already. in San Diego county its takes a lot of work to get a 100 amp sub-panel permit. I don't see this indoor in CA going well.

outdoor, CA weather is great, a few plants is ok, but a whole acre of MJ, I doubt the product would be as good as the smaller indoor grows, but I said before: legal MJ is not going to have to be great to make money. using beer as and example: micro brews are awesome, but they still sell more bud, and miller and coors lite. Vs taxes and regulation you make more money on a medium quality product then you do a high quality one.

there is a small little snip, slipped in there about veterans and prescription drugs. the government pays very low cost for meds, in return of the favor of big pharma: however "IF" you are not buying in a legal MJ CA, and are buying a prescribed medication (cannabis) we can look up and see the US government paid 1.60 per ounce since 1964.

this law prohibits sales of medications higher then what the government pays for them, I don't see it being applicable to medical cannabis: but some where in the system there is a man, who already knows how they could maybe use this on MJ. by destroying the cost, it would end all motivation to grow and sell it. handing it over to large companies how will grow crap, and sell it for high price. the black market will again be viable though.

Okay, so now the Election has come and gone. Prop 64 passed - NOW WHAT? It will be a little over a year before we can expect to see legal sales for "recreational use". So, you can't buy it yet!

Let's assume I (or someone else) have been growing an "Illegal Crop" - is that crop now legal? That is, of course, providing that that the crop complies with all legal limits (square footage, plant count, etc.). Let's further assume that I (or some else) already have some dried, cured and put away for "later". Would my stash, now, be legal?

The only part about Prop. 64 that is obvious is that there will be a $9.25 / ounce tax assessed for "Homegrown".

I'm going over to Cal-Norml to see what's going on.
