ACMPR registration finally arrived

My papers finally arrived, they expire exactly one year from the date on my script so there is no extension based on their insane processing times.

I currently have 2 plants just over a week into flower but may have to cull one because I burnt it early and may have stress hermied it as a result. The other one is pretty much perfect however and in a couple of weeks is going to start smelling like fruity candy if it is anything like my buddies other ones. I'll pop more beans around 6 weeks so that they are ready to swap over once these (or this) plant finish.

How long did it take from the time you sent your paperwork in ?
Not counting the month and a half for the initial denial due to signature issue, just over 13 weeks. They told me they had no issues contacting my doctor and that my paperwork was perfect during those 13 weeks and that there was nothing I could do and no one I could talk to in order to speed up the process because there was nothing holding them up other than a backlog of patients applying.

The initial paperwork at the beginning of October they took issue with my signature because I signed it using a stylus and printed it off rather than using an ink pen or a pencil. The second set of paperwork that was sent in November they said had no issues (it is not complex paperwork when it is for your primary residence, it is pretty hard to fuck it up) and they also said they had no issues contacting my doctor (I offered to have my doctor contact them if they were having issue reaching him). I have yet to meet someone who sent after October who has received them back quicker than I did but it wouldn't shock me if some did.

That's two weeks shy of 4 months ? Craziness !!!

Was the renewal date from the date the dr signed the papers or when you received paperwork back from Health Canada ?

1 Year from the date on the medical document is signed by the doctor (assuming your doctor writes a 1 years script), so your 12 month script basically becomes a 9 month one.

Yes from day doc signed. They even sent a letter telling me to renew at least 3 months in advanced.

I wonder if a doc can post-date the forms? I fully expect hc would have a problem with it but what about the college of physicians? Is that alowed with a prescription?

"normal" prescriptions don't begin to expire the day they are written either. If I'm given 1pill x 1 time a day for 60days of pill "a" and I fill it three days from now, I would receive 60 pills not 57. If the pharmacy didn't have any in stock and filled it the following day I would receive 60 not 56. Why is this any different?

I for one believe the script should be valid from the day signed not the day "issued" by hc.

Hc better step up thier game, what's going to happen in the coming months when current acmpr patients start sending in thier annual renewals? This wave of applications is going to become a tsunami.

And i wonder how long a renewal will take ? I was lucky as i was applying at the start when it took a month.Better to just keep on with a new script as i'm not waiting 3 - 4 months into a new script as i'm asking for a year.First script was for only 6 months...so wtf are you starting and finishing in 2 months.Pfff this is a joke..they just don't want to let you grow.Just buy the overpriced sprayed swag called medical mj Lmao

My best bet is just as long as registration took which is why I am glad mine was a 1 year script. This is why so many people are saying fuck it and growing illegal though, bureaucracy is negatively impacting their ability to access medication.

I just sent my renewal in today. Last time I spoke with HC they said renewals with no changes shouldn't take as long as a new registration ....but I doubt that very much haha. I was happy my doctor felt more comfortable signing my script for a year this time.....much less stressful.

heard a guy got his script returned by HC for the number being too high. even though it was signed off by a doc. also heard hc inspectors brought a guy from revenue Canada with them to a large acmpr grow, to have a little chat with them.

Rev Canada?? About what prey tell? lol
you're not allowed to have enough meds that CANNOT KILL you because they want control something they cant...
but you can have enough of anything else that can kill you because they FEEL they have a good enough control over it? Like tobacco and alcohol .Lol ...just to name a few!!

The Government should be taken to court for allowing people to hurt themselves so they can make a profit off of their addiction.

Criminal negligence causing death and or bodily harm!!!
