DDoS I wonder????????

I'm the one who writes the fb status
I don't get much info when the site goes down
I just report it to the owner
I ask for an eta
it is my understanding the person who up keeps this forum like the hardware parts does it on his spare time and not as a full job
So weekends evenings holidays when our site goes down it takes long we to repair

We were not the specific target the network was we happen to be on said network
 
So if it was a general attack on the network and not an attack on RIU..why are the pictures affected. Folks say it was NOT to get RIU..it was a network attack.
So if the site here wasn't hacked or attacked.....why are the pictures affected at all? Never mind taking this long to fix or restore or whatever.
I have zero knowledge of this type subject though. It just doesn't seem to add up. One thing contradicts another. To me if they were able to screw up the pictures here, they must have gain some type of access. Or how did they do that?
So how much info was compromised is my next Q. Passwords...email addresses.
Maybe you guys know what would be going on with these Q's.
Seem if the pic were not affected or hacked...why so long to fix?
Something doesn't seem to add up with this story of no damage done here. Am I wrong..please inform if you guys have ideas.

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that RIU admin took their site down to isolate it from the network attack and did some maintenance or changes while it was offline that affected pictures. I don't understand the delay in getting it fixed tho...

the guy who fixes our website has been in the hospital with a serious critical condition for the last month
thats why
 
If anyone happened to notice, the site went down at the same time Anonymous took out Freedom Hosting II.....the news was all over the net.... We may have been collateral damage as the folks at Anonymous did some 'net cleaning'. Mind you when I checked today it says Rollitup's servers are hosted by Cloudflare.

Probably another group responsible, theres more than just Anonymous now a days. Hell even well before they existed.
