cloning issue

This is my first attempt at cloning. I screwed up at the start by letting the rockwool sit in water. I corrected it after 5-6 days. I am a little leary about the rockwool as it was 4 years old. It was wrapped in seran wrap but I still have my doubts. The clones gave off the appearance they were dying so I decided to bury them and try again at a later date an learn from my mistake.

I tore open the rockwool and noticed the roots were starting. Upon closer look I notice new growth at the top of the plants. So I went down to my "lab" an got some soiless mix (1/3 peat,1/3 perlite,1/3 vermiculite) and prepared some small pots and put them in the mixture.

Check out the pics and please give me some advice. They are in a high top humidity dome in the pics.

Should I water with ferts? Should I keep spraying them? Any advice will be appreciated

are you spritzing the plants? It looks like there is no humidity in the humidity dome...
I was misting the dome everyday. These clones are 15 days old ,were taken from a plant 10 days into flower so I know they take a while to root good. Should I keep the humidity up and mist the clones everyday?

you need to mist the clones twice a day for the first few days, then remove the dome and con't to spritz 2 or so times a day and they should have roots by day 7 or so. What light are you using? They don't need much light while rooting. I would take some new clones and try again, have you read the grow faq?

Yes I read the grow faq. The fact that the plant was in flower changes everything. Most of the info you get is strictly cloning from a vegatative mother plant. I was going to toss them yesterday but as I said when inspecting them, I noticed roots and new growth at the top.

they are under 42 watt cfl 24hrs.

No, it changes nothing, the humidity dome should have moisture on the inside, besides there are no buds on the clones... My clones show no yellowing at all.

Dont toss! I picked on my first clones, 2 weeks ago. After ruining rockwool i made a dwc bubbler cloner. I put them in and every abused clone sprouted and is now in flower and doing good. It was beautiful to watch for a first timer, in the dwc. When i say bubbler cloner i mean a coffee can with an airstone and a few hole punched in the lid. I added some week nutes and some superthrive. I hear nutes slo down clone growth and i dont anything about the superthrive but what it says in the bottle. It says to dunk yur clones in it for a few min. Also when i i made the clones again i cut the stems under water!

Oh yeah, in the dwc i did not use a dome. I alo used one week cfl, placed a foot away. One of the smaller i forget exactly. Clone rock!

I read the nitrogen slows down clone process. Then after u see roots they ready, i think. Just telling u all i know, man. I swear by superthrive! I gonna drink some next!

actually taking a clone with dark green leaves which has a lot of nitrogen helps to speed up the process! I have never used superthrive for cloning, I always use rooting hormone and get roots in 7 days...

That's awesome about the dark green leaves! I'm amazed mine came out so good. Cutting under water, superthrive, and oxygen i found out. They a good feeling. I got one in an experimental ebb and flo with rockwool medium and it growing fast! Reps+++
